His attempt to die by his namesake didn't pan out.
I was cracking up during that scene! I literally thought there was no way they'd do that in a series so driven by Elmore. Low and behold...it played PERFECTLY into a Leonard moment! Classic!
Tim and Raylan are dynamite. Greatest couple on TV right now.
Looks like my predictions for Raylan's future are officially torpedoed after seeing the preview for next week. Don't want to say it openly in case someone decides to torch me for a "spoiler"...even though it's in the preview. Yet again these writers surprise me with their direction and momentum...and the show is better for it. I hate when I figure something out ahead of time, even subconsciously, since it ruins the surprise for me. Happy to be proven wrong.
Is it too early to say after just one week I missed Constable Bob last night?
Going back to what I said earlier about Dillahunt, I think this is the best character he's had since Deadwood. Sure, he's still a killer, but the character offers a lot of subtlety that has been missing from most of his recent roles. He's just a guy trying to follow orders that conflict with his loyalties to his friends.
He's not crazy, psychotic or infallible. Just another dude deep in the middle of a criminal organization.
Raylan "Wonderful things can happen when you sow seeds of distrust in a garden of
Love how Tim wanted it repeated so he could write it down. These 2 guys are gold together.
Why did Limehouse the guy who has a rep for sheltering women drop a dime on Aver?
Because she lied to Limehouse in last episode saying she had some money buried for him. She then played Errol and when Bob tazed Errol, Ava took off. I knew right then Limehouse would drop dime and he did. Just didn't think it would be so fast. No face off with Raylin and Choo Choo is a disappointment.

1. Zachariah vs. Boyd
2. Boyd vs. Ava
3. Limehouse + Boyd
4. Wynn + Katherine
5. Wynn + Katherine vs. Avery
6. Raylan vs. Everybody above
7. I'm sure there's more - please chime in!
I thought it was a great episode. The scene with Raylan and Boyd in the kitchen with Ava was extra great. Everything had a double meaning. Knew it wasn't going to work out well with Choo Choo. Wynn Duffy is just great. Loved his banter. I got that Zachariah was going to kill Boyd's guy. I'm not exactly sure why he worked so hard to save Boyd if he wanted him dead and basically had him helpless.
Jerry. Just remember. Its not a lie . . . if you believe it. GC

Well I assume the initial plan was for Boyd to fall through and make it look like an accident. When he got stuck Zachariah only had two options, save Boyd or kill Boyd and his crew. Taking out his crew would have been difficult and getting away with it would require him to make a cover story that would convince Ava.
