Yeah, they should have done a full blown Monty Python with blood shooting all over everyone and Quaryles saying "it's only a flesh wound"

How many scenes did we see Limehouse use that cleaver to chop off pig legs, ribcages, that is a huge cleaver,.They are very heavy & it's over a 1/4" of hardened steel thick , that's a whole lotta steel being swung around . I have one like that & I've easily chopped thru a steer leg with one swing. they feel like a sledge hammer in weight in your hands.
Whack off a mans arm ,Easy !

Limehouse evicted Errol as he had started the whole mess ..
Errol was doing as asked by LimeHouse in trying the setting up Boyd, that didn;t work ... Limehouse also set-up Dickie by tell Raylan that they were headed to Loretta's house to get Mags' money

Like on 'Spartacus'. They're quite inventive when it comes to different ways to spurt movie-blood around. Such is the difference between premium cable and, um, regular cable.

Yeah blood shoulda been sprayed thru out the room ! I cut a finger off & it sprayed the room big time ..
Quarles would have bled out in minutes , & I didn't see anyone running rushing over to put a tourniquet to save his life ...

Sorry for all the rush of posts outta me.
I haven't had time to watch the show till today , as I wanted to rewatch the episode before the finale , so that I was Fresh on what happened . I do recall that Boyd in the 2nd to the last episode was still unconscious & on the ground when Raylan rolled up on the parking lot when Tom was killed

Not necessarily. Peripheral arteries have a natural musculature that retracts the artery and contracts when injured. It's a natural defense against just such an injury. Actual blood loss might be limited to venous seepage, which of course would still be considerable, but not "spraying" like an artery can. People frequently survive traumatic amputations just because of this mechanism.

that didn't happen when I cutoff my finger I had a major squirt with each heart beat . so much so that the person who came over to help got a face full of blood . the finger was re-attached & knock on wood I have full feeling & use . The cut area is still tender & will burn in pain in the cold . That was 30 years ago .

Does anyone know if FX will do a repeat of Season 3 during the year? I missed a bunch of episodes due to a really crappy illness over the last few months.

yeah they do, but really late at night ... . but also just before the next season starts they show the complete last season in the 13 weeks before the new season starts .
As I always re-watch those just to get re-freshed on what happened in the last season & I have done this the last 2 years .
hope that will ease some of the pain ..

My guess too.
Even if he doesn't, there has to be some kind of resolution to their relationship.

The Errol character will survive if they can get the actor back. He'll just disappear if he's not available. Heck, it's not a sure thing they can bring back Limehouse...it's in negotiations.

Actually, I dispute that. On a long RV trip my wife and I bought a pint of Ole Smoky Apple Pie Moonshine in Gatlinburg,Tennessee. We pour us each a small glass for every episode. Easy drinking, very tasty.

Remember Mags' poisoned apple pie moonshine? I think I have your bourbon beat on this one. Incidentally, we found Ole Smoky moonshine (though not apple pie flavor) in the local liquor store, so it may well be available everywhere, by special order if not on the shelves. Highly recommended for getting you in the mood.

You might be right. Moonshine may be the better pairing for this show.

... if you stand in a Wal-Mart parking lot here in the Carolinas and throw a handful of pennies up in the air, at least half a dozen will hit a car that has a Mason jar of Apple Pie Moonshine (no trademark, no brand name) in the trunk.

They took EverClear alcohol off the shelves here - now it's essentially a banned substance. Seems a handful of college kids were buying it for their "hairy buffalo" parties and getting all irresponsible 'n such. So somebody complained and found a few legislators looking for a handy political diversion, and voilÃ*! - EverClear is now banned along with such things as over-the-counter pseudoephedrine which a tiny handful of society's uber-losers use to make meth. Now our collegiate "Leaders of Tomorrow" have to buy 2 bottles of cheap vodka to get drunk on instead. That'll teach 'em a valuable political lesson...

Moral of the story: The makers of EverClear need to hire a more influential lobbyist. Fight the Power!

Used to mix Everclear with homemade dandelion wine in my youth. A lot of wild nights began and ended with a group of us imbiding that. But even so, the stuff is dangerous and needs to be respected. It can kill you. The problem is you can put a lot of alcohol in you before you ever feel the effects, so you keep drinking and by the time it hits you, you're dead. As much as I hate big brother watching out for us I can see the caution in making it available. I know we always kept a watchful eye on the young women who were curious to try homemade wine...
