Since this season (and next) weren't ordered until January of this year, why do all the vehicles have license stickers in the windshield that are for 2011? I'm pretty darn sure no municipality is going to let vehicles run around with licenses that expired three years ago.

In the timeline of the show, it's only about 9 months after the show started if I'm doing the math right.

Well, that was sort of a turn there (Deus ex Mater)? I was a bit disappointed that it went that way, I was looking forward to exploring more of what motivated Mara and why.

Can't believe she cut her own toe off.

It did tell us that whatever happens to Mara doesn't happen to Audrey.....unless Audrey hasn't noticed that a toe was missing.

Wow....didn't anybody watch last week's episode?

So we got rid of Mira and Duke released all the troubles.

Just when you figure its done, something else happens.

Do have a question. Mira's mom didn't inject Audrey into Mira, she killed her, right? She just said that she was going to combine them to get Mira to go along.

I'm not really clear on that. I think Mommy dearest used Mara to "fix" Audrey "permanently," destroying Mara in the process. Perhaps it's more like a reset ... burning off the bad parts and keeping the good. Either way, I didn't expect them to do away with Mara so quickly ...

Any idea how they're going to fix all the escaping problems?

It'd be funny if the writers just let Haven go completely crazy with the problems and that's how it ends.

That would be truly "evil." Presumably, Mommy Dearest/Deus-ex-M. will still be around to help out with that.

So was that the full 13 episode "half" season???

What a way to end the episode?

I wonder if there is a timeline for when this show will return.

Looking forward to the conclusion, but not the end...

This seems to indicate so:

You've laughed. You've cried. You've watched the misadventures of Audrey/Sarah/Mara/Lucy, Duke, Nathan, Dwight, the brothers Teagues and more from Haven, Maine as they battle (or manipulate) "The Troubles" and all of the superhuman hijinx that accompanies them. But now it's time for Haven's story to come to an end. The last 13 episodes of Season 5 - starting October 8 at 10/9c - will be the show's last.

The continuation for Season 5 will not disappoint. Once new episodes resume (on October 8 at 10/9c in case you forgot), Haven is going to start barreling towards a finale that, we are confident, will leave everyone feeling satisfied. And we're saying that because we've watched it not just because its something we are supposed to say it. Showrunner Gabrielle Stanton has said that the creative team was always prepared for the end, and that the finale that's planned for Haven is the best that they could have possibly done it. So, moral of the story, there IS a definitive ending.

Haven we salute you, and we can't wait to see what the rest of Season 5 has in store.

Sci Fi was once one of my main channels to watch. Once Haven is gone I'll be down to Face Off and that's it. Sad.

Syfy still has some good shows.

Dark Matter
Killjoys
Defiance
Dominion
12 Monkeys
Z Nation
Continuum (Final season)

Come to think of it, it might be the channel that has most of the shows I watch.

12 Monkeys is great. Haven is possibly the best original Syfy show of all time. It would have had a huge audience on a more mainstream cable channel or network.

Good to have it back. So is Duke the "black eyed killer?" Nah, he can't be. It goes back to the Colorado Kid. Is the "terrible evil" from the void in Haven? Also, who gave up all of Nathan's inside info? And are we sure we can fully trust Dr. Cross? Whew, these last episodes are gonna go too fast.

I have been wondering if Shatner is the one who gave up the info on Nathan, and if he is going to be the big bad or Mara's Dad.

Did we see this side of Duke before the break? I thought we saw some part of black-eyed-Duke, but I don't remember what he does to them.

Not digging this season very much. The whole premise of this last episode was pointless since we knew that the outcome of the trial didn't matter at all. Why waste an episode on it?

Josh,

I almost gave up again with this last episode. I know the show is in trouble when I start to FF through scenes.

Honestly, if it hadn't been announced that this will be the final season, I would have given up on it. With the end so close, I feel obligated to finish it out. If it were going to drag on for another few years, I'd just drop it now.
