I love this show but this has too much of a feel of the wrap-up season. Because of the short season, episode-wise, they are moving a much faster pace than they did in the past. I preferred the slower pace. It just seems like a farewell to each of the characters (which I guess it is).

You didn't notice the picture/poster on the wall in the restaurant?

I did. Was he responsible for the bombing? If I knew this I wouldn't be asking the question.

I don't get that feel at all .. the pace is about the same as always .. although the flashbacks do tend to throw a little curve in ..

The scenes with Gretchen Mol (Gillian Darmody) have once again reinforced her manipulations and sheer craziness .. and what's with the bathing and what not in the Nut Ward .. ?? Or Prison for the Criminally Insane, if that's what it is .. two scenes, one in a communal tub, the other in a bathtub covered with a tarp ..

Didn't need to be any earlier interaction. He was simply a message to his Jewish friends.... He made it very clear with the postcard attached to the body.

Prison, I presume. When we last saw her she was arrested for murder(?) Her beau was undercover cop, correct?

I am suffering from oldtimers and need some reminding:
1. The guy that was working for Luciano & Lansky that Nucky's guy clipped, who when Nucky saw him remarked about his changing allegiances, who did he work for before? (Was he the one that worked for and killed Gyp?)
2. How did Chalky end up in the chain gang?
3. How did Eli end up with Alden working for Capone? Hopefully we will get a flashback to see that.

I wish this had a full season, too.

It could be a mental facility ("criminal"), from the way the other women are acting this is my guess. Remember this is "old school" treatment, there were many treatments that would be considered "outlandish" by todays standards This may have been just one of them.. It seemed it was some sort of "steam" treatment.

I can only guess, but I'd speculate it has something to do with Valentin Narcisse and J. Edgar Hoover ..

Eli beat the FBI agent Knox to death and Nucky sent him "out west" to Chicago. Nucky and Capone had already had dealings in the past so it was a natural fit. Alden/Mueller was working for Capone last season and I think he even killed O'Bannon who was a Capone adversary.

Alden didn't kill O'Bannon. He was supposed to but couldn't do it. While he was in the back 2 guys came in and killed him.

Yes, that was Tonino Sandrelli, Gyp Rosetti's right hand man in Season 3.

Rosetti (with Tonino) was attempting to kill Nucky and ended up killing his mistress.

Ahh. Thanks. I didn't recall that was him. Was his brother the one that Gyp killed on the beach with a shovel while the guy was buried in the sand up to his head?
