I'm looking forward to this. This show features my "crush" from Californication. Marcy, played by Pamela Adlon.

Louie is a comedy filtered through the observational humor of Louis C.K. Each episode puts a spotlight on Louis' hectic life as a successful stand-up comedian and newly single father raising his two daughters. The single-camera comedy is a mix of Louis C.K.'s stand-up comedy and scripted short films. Louis C.K. serves as executive producer, writer and director, and Dave Becky and 3 Arts are executive producers. FX has ordered 13 episodes of the series which is shot in New York.

"Louie" will premier on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 11:00 PM ET/PT

Pamela Adlon played the wife in Louie C.K.'s first sitcom on HBO. That one was a bit of a mess so I hope this version is better.

I actually really enjoyed Louie CK on HBO. Thought it was very funny. I'm looking forward to this too.

Hopefully it won't be anything like the show he had on HBO a few years back. I only watched it once and I think it was done after the 12-13 episodes. But it was the worst thing I've seen on TV. It wasn't funny it was more like "how many times can we say s---, f--- and c--- in 30 minutes.

"Lucky Louie" on HBO. I liked it as well. Hopefully this one will be good as well.

Remember from HBO, their girls rendition of "My Neck" by Khia?

I thought Lucky Louie was a really funny show. I definitely remember her dancing to that song. Definitely a moment that will be hard to forget.

She also has been playing Evan Handler's wife on Californication. Also saw her on a commercial for the new show...don't know if she has an on-going role, though.

She was on the Steve Martin movie version of "Sgt. Bilko". She played Sgt. Raquel Barbella (as Pamela Segall). It took me awhile to place her but that is where I first saw her.

I watched the first premier episode last night. I enjoyed it.
His date went horribly wrong, talk about being silly.

Will keep watching this show, I liked it.

This is the show that should have been on HBO. I have no idea why HBO or who ever decided to do their version with the super super cheap look of a 1970s sitcom.

There were actually two episodes last night (the 2nd dealing with his divorce).

We dug this show. I like his sense of humor; depressing for sure but hillarious. Kind of cool seeing the stand up segments ala Seinfeld. His bit about his dog had me rolling. "Can't I stay the NIGHT?! JESUS!" lol

Gave it a try. Just a bit too depressing to be enjoyably funny. LCK is not a guy I'd choose to befriend, I suppose.

I love CK's stand up, but other than those parts, I did not enjoy the pilot. I really wanted to like this show and for it to succeed because I love CK as a comedian and this will probably be the last original FX sitcom that will be a boundary pusher.

Ricky Gervais (sp?) was awesome as the DR. This is a great show and had me rolling again last night. There were some lines I'm surprised made it past the sensors.

That role was perfect for Gervais.

I, too, am surprised and somewhat relieved that some of the really foul language has been able to make its way through.

Loved tonight's episode. Great stuff.
The "old" sex scene was interesting.
I'm enjoying Pamela Adlon in the cast.

Good episode.

As usual, much of Louie's jokes were oddly poignant and true. I particularly liked his talk about thinking of when his daughter will become an adult and no longer under his direct guardianship. It was funny in an absurd way, but it makes a bit of sense.

Anything with Gervais is pretty much hilarious. The rest of the episodes I found as pretty bland.

It doesn't have to make it past censors, it's on cable. What it does have to pass is F/X's standards and practices department, where the network limits itself in order not to upset sponsors.

I thought the pilot was lame. So bad in fact that I forgot to setup a recording of the show, I'll have to check the reruns.

Anyway, there was a good article on CHUD a couple weeks back:

Well, numerous "bleeps" on the most recent episode. But good to seem him re-united with Pamela Aldon on this episode.

Pamela Adlon was the voice of Bobby Hill on King of the Hill.

I saw an episode last night. I loved it! The doctor totally being inappropriate was hilarious. Then Louie, one of my favorite comedians, beating up one of my most despised comedians was icing on the cake.

Great show!

The only bleeps I heard were on Nick Dipaolo's standup. I found that strange. I'll have to watch it again. The scene in the dr's office had me really laughing. I loved Lucky Louie and this is great too.

After reading all the positive things about Louie I gave it another chance. I loved everything about last night's episode until he bombed at his show. I felt the episode came to a screeching halt at the diner and the squad car. Poor Louis, can he ever catch a break?

Last night's episode was strange.
I did like the whole acting with Matthew Broderick. "Your father's dead"
I laughed a lot during that scene.

The first segment with the obnoxious women was interesting.

I think every comedian on earth is thanking CK for the first act. I loved it. I think his acting is making fun of his Lucky Louie performance. I enjoyed the show, but lets be honest, his acting was awful.

The rest of the episode was "meh."
