If you know all share with us. I have read all of the 5 and still waiting for the next book to find out whats happened to Jon and Dany. They are in about the same spot at the end of epoisoid 10 as the end of 5. Dany did have her dragon fly in just before the horsemen showed up.

Good read - the casting "spoiler" speculation is particularly interesting...

f you read the Game of Thrones books, you know that Jon Snow is probably coming back from the dead. If you look at Kit Harington's hair, you know that Jon Snow is probably coming back from the dead. And if you saw the pictures of Kit Harington arriving in Belfast (where GOT season six is currently in production) this week, you know that Jon Snow is probably coming back from the dead. But, of course, like Schrödinger's cat, we won't know for sure that Jon's back until Thrones returns next spring, which means that for the next nine months, every single one of Harington's movements will be obsessively scrutinized for clues towards Jon's status. And he knows it, too: As you can tell from the photos fans have been snapping, he's absolutely miserable about being spotted — and not just because that's the way his face looks. Are we going to be doing this every time I step out in public? he seems to be saying. Yes, Kit. Yes we are.

Ian McShane has signed for a role next season. I'm guessing it's the Head Maester of the Citadel.

They could stop that very easily. Just announce that he IS coming back. But that would slow down the publicity train, and that is not happening.

Pretty sure he's going to be one of Theon's uncles.

They have a poll on watchersonthewall & Sams dad is the favorite:

Randyll Tarly - 48% (202 votes)
Euron Greyjoy - 18% (74 votes)
Character in a flashback - 10% (42 votes)
Archmaester Marwyn - 9% (38 votes)
Someone else - 8% (34 votes)
Septon Meribald - 5% (19 votes)
Elder Brother - 2% (10 votes)

The casting description fits him too - hes a little older but can easily pull it off:
"Father, aged 50’s to 60’s, he’s one of the greatest soldiers in Westeros- a humorless martinet, severe and intimidating. He demands martial discipline in the field and in his home."
