That trailer, I'm sure, makes it look better than it will be, but I'm excited anyway.

Wow, that trailer is sooo spoiler laden. It even reveals what they were cooking, what happens to them, and what will be doing on the whole season. Excellent trailer though, gave me goose bumps. Soooo can't wait.

I didn't think there was a question what they were cooking after they passed the pile of bones, and then were corralled into a cage.

If TWD would just get rid of Beth I would be so happy ! I have not liked her since her intro and she has done the unthinkable make Daryl boring to watch ! I hope she is killed by the walkers because all her scenes are meaniless and Emily Kinney is the worst actress by far on this series ! I cannot believe Melissa Mcbride is so often overlooked in favor of this bland young actress who drags anyone she has a scene with down and the show down with her one dimensional acting and uncharismatic character !

I agree that Emily Kinney's Beth has not been a compelling character. Not sure how much of that has been due to Kinney's limited skill and how much to the writing, however. I agree though that Melissa McBride performances as Carol have been wonderful. Carol has developed from a timid abused wife into a strong woman who is not afraid to make hard choices and is warm and gentle with children, despite her dystopian environment. Carol is a compellingly written character and, it seems to me, has been well served by McBride's talents.

She's a minor player, who cares. I don't have a problem with her for the role she has.

My local, over the air channel has started airing the Walking Dead from the beginning. I wonder how the ratings are doing now that non-cable subscribers can watch it.

Is it edited for network broadcast or are they showing all of the gore?

I just saw a little bit of one but haven't watched full episodes since I have them all on Blu-ray.

I recall a new story about TWD being made available like this and am positive they were going to be "edited" versions. To what extent, who knows without watching/comparing.

Same here - My20 Detroit is airing them with back to back episodes in anticipation to the new season premiere tomorrow night on AMC.
I have not watched any episodes to determine how much if any editing has been done, but any editing means shorter episodes and therefore more commercials - aka MONEY for the station.......

I just saw in my guide info that they are referring to the Terminus residents as the "Terminans". Is that the official name the show is really going with?

What about Rick's group? The Rickians? The Grimesers? The Replacements?

The Entrees?

Woe, there's no show that makes me feel the way this show makes me feel! That was intense, well the first 15-20 minutes had me in the edge of my seat, holly molly...

Glad TWD is back...

Very intense episode. I enjoyed it.

If I was Tyrese I would have pummeled that guy after he threatened Judith. It wasn't like the guy was going to take care of her if Tyrese went outside to basically commit suicide.

I'm not sure what they do to protect what the baby portraying Judith actually sees, but I can sure picture her having no idea where all of those horrible nightmares are coming from later in life.

Had the bat wielding dude started on the other side we'd be mourning about half the cast, can't believe how gory this was . This was gory beyond what Walking Dead usually delivers. Did you do that? Yep, Carol delivers!
