What an excellent crossover that would be. Under the Walking Dead Dome.

That's too funny, considering that our football stadium is known as the Georgia Dome.

An okay episode in which we got to see some new locations and it wasn't just hiking.

Stupid is always following them though, so it only took a one line "speech" from Dr Mullet and his amazing charisma powers to convince them to go to DC and then Bob decided the best place to sit in the middle of the night is away from the building with his back to the woods. Serves him right that he got attacked by some super silent Terminus ninjas.

At least the show is upping the horror level with the cannibals in the mix. You can only smush a zombie head for so long for shock value.

Actually, I think the GI guy's speech was more convincing. Are they going to forage in the forest forever or try to fix the situation for Judith and for themselves?

Washington and the Mullet head may not have the true answer but they have to look for an answer, not just wander from one place to another, killing rather than being killed.

Since CDC, it seems they'd given up all efforts to try to make sense, to see if there was some cure. Or earlier in the episode, Rick said this was reality, trying to survive every day. But that's a pretty bleak outlook, even after the zombie apocalypse.

And as keeps constantly being brought up there are hundreds of places they could be heading for with prospects that are just as good and are much closer. In Georgia.

Jekyll Island and Kings Bay Naval Base are just a few hours drive from Atlanta. Even if they didn't want to stay on a fortified military base or resort island they could get a boat and sail up the coast. Or live on one!

There may even be a spare submarine they could live on. Even docked it would still be almost impenetrable.

'The Walking Dead' Premiere Climbs Past 22 Million Viewers With DVR
By Michael O'Connell, The Hollywood Reporter's 'Live Feed' Blog - Oct. 17, 2014

It's been a banner week for The Walking Dead. After breaking more records with its fifth season premiere on AMC, TV's top series solidified its year-to-year gains in the first round of time-shifting.

Live-plus-three ratings made available on Friday have The Walking Dead climbing to 22.37 million viewers — that's up 29 percent from the original score last week and a 10 percent improvement from the comparable number last season.

The series was up even more among adults 18-49. Time-shifting saw the series climb from 10.98 million viewers in the key demo to 14.5 million. And that doesn't even include encores and the further boost the series will see in live-plus-seven day ratings.

The Walking Dead's success has not been exclusive to the U.S. With Fox International Channels rolling out the zombie drama in over a dozen markets within 24 hours of its premiere, the series' international audience is up 45 percent from the fourth season.

In Europe alone, The Walking Dead's viewership is up 68 percent from 2013.

Yeah my girl was saying that, they sure made it look that way...He was even limping a bit, very strange how it was played out. Yet they didn't show him wounded or anything, not too sure what when on there!

The cannibal group is a storyline from the comics but is involving different characters in the TV show.

This brings up the always nagging question in my mind - do I watch the show/movie first and then read the book/comic or should I do it the other way around?

I was thinking the same thing about the water walker getting him. I think he was planning to take himself out using the pistol he had stuck in his norge.

Assuming that's all true, what happens to the Terminus gang now that they've eaten tainted Bobby Beef?

We thought that water walker got him as well but shrugged it off when he didn't turn, which he should have by then.
Wonder what army guy meant when he told his female friend "that is why we wait" or something to that effect when Michonne dispatched the first walker.

I'm pretty sure Bob was going into the woods to off himself when he got caught. There was way too much screen time for him and his girl. And that last kiss seemed to be over emphasized.

Makes no difference and worse, it could make it "confusing". The show is NOT following the comics (period). Yes, they get ideas, use some of it almost verbatim, and so on, but they're simply not following them story for story.

Who told Rick not to return to Terminus to finish the rest of the cannibals off? I can't recall.

The time it takes to turn, especially from a wound, can certainly vary. Remember "Jim" from season 1 ? He got bit at the camp during a walker attack but lived for days, albeit suffering and getting worse.

That has me intrigued, well, the whole plan that Abraham has. Something tells me that even Eugene doesn't know what that plan is too though.
