The "wall" is more like a fence, albeit a really tall one...

It's like cheap corrugated aluminum panels, with a garage door opener?

Anyways, I wonder if they're going to go back to Noah's town, figure out what happened to the zombies there and how they breached the walls there.

Alexandria wall doesn't seem that much better than the one at Noah's town.

Isn't that kind of the point of Deanna wanting Ricks group? The people in Alexandria aren't really prepared for what is out there. Like the guy that calls a gun a sweet biscuit.

After further review of the episode/walls I think the beams on the outside will represent the clumsiness of the alexandria community.

Ricks "its a good thing we are here" statement does make sense...from the sure shot walker kill in the beginning to glen tara and noah school the ROTC guy on how to do a run/dispose of walkers...

looking back to the comics there weren't any beams on either side of the wall.

I hope there is some sort of dialog referencing the dumb design. Hopefully its not cut out or completely ignored like maggie never mentioning beth.

I wonder if when this show ends many seasons from now it will happen like this:

Rick will wake up in the hospital (just like in episode 1), but this time he will be surrounded by Lori, Carl, and Shane because it will all have been a nightmare while he was unconscious from the gunshot wound.
