The problem that Sunday's episode pointed out is that they have way too many characters with speaking parts. They need to find a new bad guy soon and trim the herd some from the group.

Also you can show us in other ways that the towns people get it than by beating us over the head with brute force with rick's new gf and the guy that stopped the beeping truck and their drawn out speeches.

If it was for ratings, they'd have Rosita in her Lara Croft outfit and Maggie wrestling in a mud pit and then end up kissing. I think the intent of the actual scene was for inclusion. Just as Aaron and his partner are not played up as flamboyant gays who want to redecorate Alexandria, here are two regular people that have a connection.

Well, at the time it seemed like she was on to more than simply making him feel better. It looked like she had a breakthrough in curing someone infected. I guess she was just happy to poke someone with a needle and not have them die.

Yes, it did seem to me like a "light bulb" went off in her head regarding using a syringe to pull in some of that leg goo...
Like there may possibly be more to that plotline ..

We already knew Tara was gay. I guess the doctor is the love doctor.
Apparently gay people can survive the apocalypse (so it isn't all about them).

Spencer made a great speech regarding pantry raiding which I stopped the recording and told my son that it takes talent to not just know what is right but to be able to explain it and convince other people. Then he goes and steals himself. Sheesh.

She was getting frustrated trying to fight the infection. She then threw the book away (showing she gave up). Tara comes in and gives her another "pep" speech. She goes back to the book more determined and finds something that may help with the infection. For now it seems to have worked (draining the wound). I wouldn't say he is cured just yet, but doing better than he was. This positive reaction to something she had so much doubt in even doing was a revelation to her. It basically proved that she was able to fill the doctor roll of she didn't give up (a common theme for Alexandrians).

It definitely wasn't from the top. It was like 4-5' off the ground. My first thought was that the sheet metal had "punctures" in it (almost like bullets going outward and leaving a) a hole and b) some jagged metal on the outside). Then as a walker was pushed against it, it caused them to squeeze blood through.

From a crack in the metal. I thought that scene with the blood was to show that the section of the wall is failing.

are you serious?...you're saying that any actor can play any role fine...sorry but you're wrong...if you're familiar at all with Jeffrey Dean Morgan and the Negan character from the comics you would know how perfect this casting is...it's not just me, go on any Walking Dead forum and you'll see near universal praise for this casting...apparently Timothy Olyphant, Matt Dillon and Garret Dillahunt were the finalists for the role and JFD won out...Olyphant and Dillon would have been interesting as well but luckily they got it right

with your logic maybe Kevin James should have been cast as Rick Grimes

Wow talk about putting a (bunch) of words in my mouth. That isn't even close to what I said. You should be asking yourself 'are you serious' with this post. Morgan isn't any better than Dillahunt and Dillahunt would have been fine in this role and that I didn't say PUT ANY ACTOR IN THE ROLE. The rest of that nonsense you are spewing you can take it to you know where because it's not what I said.

Don't know this "Negan" character because I haven't read the comics and don't intend to. But what I do know is this: Jeffrey Dean Morgan is awesome. He immediately improves any movie or TV show he's in. He was almost, but not quite, enough to save 'Extant'. But I thought I read that he had another gig lined up in some godfersaken procedural...?

Dillahunt would probably have been fine too. He plays badass well. Don't know if he was actually in the running for this part or if he was just having some social-media fun.

Hell, I would have taken any of the four actors that were supposedly in the running to play Negan.

I would have been okay with Olyphant and Dillahunt (he was great in the last season of Justified)
Dillon, not so much. He was brutal in Wayward Pines, even though that show was pretty bad in general, his performance made it worse.
Happy with JDM, I am a fan.

It did once toward the beginning of the episode when Daryl was walking his motorcycle through the woods, otherwise no problem, Charter Cable.

This season is moving as slow as molasses but this episode rocked to be sure... Beautiful cinematography, all those close-up in the woods and especially Abraham sitting there watching the hanging walker, framed perfectly against the sunlight.....
