That whole speech thing really bothered me too. It's like they all grew up children of the corn or something. As far as I could tell, they would have all been adults when the zombie apocalypse started. Judith ought to be speaking in tongues by the time she's 4 if this holds true.

I guess they have to come up with gimmicks for each group they encounter.

Otherwise, they'd look pretty much the same, one after the other. So colorful names for the groups with some traits that make them stand out from the countless other post-apocalyptic groups.

It can't be just a bunch of people doing their best to survive, it has to be some schtick involved.

But are they fooling anyone? It's just rival group of the week or year now at this point.
