Did you say glow or grow. Oh! Eyes. I see now. Never mind.

Yeah, I'm liking they way the last two eps have gone. Finally giving us the payoffs we've all been waiting so many years for.

Nice episode. Ending caught me slightly off guard. The way they were playing it I thought they were going to drag it out even more. Interesting move putting Tess in charge of watch tower, but I'm not buying that she has all of a sudden taken a human interest in Lex Jr.

Interesting note: On the imdb site, the cast listing for the final episode (Ep 22) has Welling listed as...Superman.

Any word on Michael Rosenbaum coming back as Lex for the series finale? Sorry if this was mentioned in an earlier part of the thread. I had heard when he left the series that he said he'd come back for the finale if asked. But, of course it probably boils down to how much they're willing to pay. I also noticed the clone of Lex has hair. Michael had stated in the past that he'd come back, but not if he hadto shave his head.

Yeah. Zatanna did put it on him. And I think there was another girl...Season 5; episode titled "Hypnotic". So I guess he is quite susceptible to magic.

How about no answer should be discussed in this thread (yes or no) since that would be a spoiler most would rather be surprised to see if they could avoid the news.

Dang this season is shaping up to equal the awesomeness of the early days. Isis was the MOTW and they ended with a very poignant moment. It was done terrifically too, I might add.

I feel a little bit of the final closure in every episode.

Question for the panel: after a relatively quick snapback to Blogeyed's post, and with nothing at all said in response to this one, how are we supposed to know for sure what is and what isn't considered a spoiler around here?

I've been having that problem (confusion) since this season's thread was started.

I try not to spoiler anything, and even spoiler-tag my guesses that are based only upon my own mind sometimes to err on the side of caution... but I've been seeing some real mixed signals in this thread as to what does and does not constitute a spoiler.

I don't think it is a spoiler. How else would you have them end this series? If it doesn't end with Clark as Superman, why did we just spend ten years waiting for it?

I just saw on WBNX's website that TV Guide is running a cover contest and letting fans vote for which show they want to be on a TV Guide cover. Here's the place to vote if you are interested: http://tvinsider.com/coverpoll/
One of the covers fans can vote for is Smallville. I think they should give that show a cover again, especially since its the 10th and final season. Vote Smallville!

Yeah... but some thought talking about Chloe leaving was a spoiler even though it was common knowledge that Alison Mack was off the series except for a few episodes this season.

Some also thought talking about Supergirl was a spoiler before that happened... and now some think talking about Lex returning is also a spoiler... even though I'd say the return of Lex in the final season is about as expected as Clark = Superman by the finale would be.

Yeah baby!  It's Halloween!

I finally watched the epidode last night, and other than all that crap with the most unattractive woman to ever foul up my television screen (besides Rosanne Barr and Fran Drescher, of course), I thought it started out slow but ended up pretty good - at least, once you also got by that annoying, six-chinned co-worker.

And Durance was a supreme fox, for sure. I knew she had nice legs, but I never knew the full extent of how terrific they really were (huh huh - he said "full extent"). The only "fault" (if you'd call it that) that I can find with her is that lisp. Only Freeman's really obvious, terrible one eclipses it on the show.

I like how they are using a previously used young-Lex actor.

The boy is older now than when we saw him a few seasons ago... so they are using him to play an older version of Lex... but I like that they are still using him in the role.

Where's that animated puking emoticon when you need it?

I would even trade having the last five minutes like that for every episode rather than see Freeman in the show at all. She is just plain hideous.

This last episode was not very good imo. I did not care for the story. I was also thinking if Lex has already aged this fast, then he should be dead soon of old age. Well not real soon, but you get the point.

There is/was an antidote. I'm sure there will be again.

Maybe he'll age at the rate right where Rosenbaum can appear in the very last episode as the adult Lex.

They did say he had about 6 weeks without the cure... and I'm assuming that 6 weeks would be the old-age death... so he'll be adult Lex in just a few weeks.

I hope they bring Kreuk back at the end, too.

It'd be nice to see both her and Durance get nekked and fight over Clark.

That would make a great ending.

Clark learns to fly. He's got the blue suit on. He's just come out of the closset as Superman instead of the blur. He picks up louis and flys off into the sunset. The music is blaring and everyone is happy. Just as the credits start to roll, the camera pans to the left where Lex is on top of a building watching. He turns to the camera and smirks. Fade out...

Just as long as it's not that typical, sappy, CW "girlie" music.
