Oh well, so much for my 2nd favorite team.

I couldn't help but laugh through the whole massage and cupping segments, but man did that look painful. Especially when the skin was turning purple.

I felt it was over the top. Downright torture.

Perhaps I misremembered.

I have a feeling they were being extra hard since it was tv. I'd love to see if next episode any of the racers comment about how relaxed they feel. I just wish the dentists did it. Imagine all those steroid-induced knots!

I'm unhappy that my favorite team is out. But Allie had seriously given up this leg so whatever. I wasn't exactly rooting for her anyway.

I loved it when Joe Dentist lost his footing on the high wire. All those muscles and was the most ungainly of all the high wire contestants.

If you are really knotted up, a full regimen massage done by an expert can be torture .. however, once you get thru it, it can end up being Heaven ..

I'll give Mr Molar kudos for holding his composure .. had it been me, I would likely have been near Heart Attack City, Panic Attack USA .. and a possibility of soiling myself on National TV (which would definitely have gone viral in this day and age and improved ratings .. )

Go Team Surfer ..

Sad to see the bikers gone. They and the surfers were my abosolute favorite teams.

I found this video on You tube of them doing commentary of the episode:

That was great. Their expressions were classic, but when they started doing shots on every Brooke complaint and then laughing hysterically over the mascara, it became priceless.

I have to say even though I am amazed at what Bethanny can do with one arm, I have extra respect for her and others who are missing an arm. I recently broke my arm and even though I still have my dominant arm free it is almost impossible to do the basic of things.

As soon as I saw the yak challenge, figured it would be a NEL, because it's too much of a chance on finding the clue, kind of like the one challenge where they were looking for the clue in giant bales of hay one time and one team kept looking and looking for hours. As it turns out the last two teams to arrive at the rice paddies found their clues before the 2 earlier teams, so complete luck of the draw.

But looks like they tied long ropes around the clue so the plow was likely to get entangled in the ropes.

They also didn't talk at the beginning about this leg being for the chance to be in the final 3 though with 4 teams, it's either an NEL or teams would be aware how key it is.

I am starting to dislike the wrestlers (at least the guy) as much as the dentists. How many times in one episode do I have to hear "we're pro wrestlers, we're awesome!"? And then the guy is afraid of getting his hands slimy on some fish? Yep, real tough.

Would like to see the surfers win, but as much as I hate to admit it, the dentists are running a great race so far.

It was hilarious that the wrestlerette was digging into the fish pile with both hands up to the elbows to scoop the fish into the other bucket and the guy was just picking up one or two with just one hand. And then he stayed as far away from the Yak as he could. I guess he's not going to inherit the "Macho Man" handle.

I don't want them to win, but at least they are entertaining. The dentists have to go next! It's funny how Mr. Molar made the comment that his head was going to explode when he couldn't figure out what was wrong with the build a bike challenge. We, as viewers, all had the same thought on many occasions with him.

As he bugged out his eyes .. .. I think Mrs Molar seems OK but Mr Molar is just a notch or two over confident for my taste ..

Mr Wrestler somehow reminds me of Robert Downy JR ..

It's the dentists' race to lose.

They've been lucky, finding that clue in the mud first and not being hurt by going on the later flight.

But they've been mostly smart.

They are running a good race for sure. Their only downfall is in noticing minute details. Hopefully, that'll get them eliminated in a future leg. I was rooting for the Cyclists, so I'm now on team Soul Surfer.

If they have some kind of endurance task, Jim would be in trouble.

But Amazing Race usually doesn't have those, it's the Real World/Road Rules Challenge that has things like running miles up some snow covered mountain.

The scientist who can't run because she overtrained in preparation hasn't been too hurt by not being able to sprint. There have been a few sprints to the finish line but we're only talking a couple of hundred yards at most, not say a couple of miles.

In the episode 2 weeks ago, one of the contestants mentioned that they are no longer allowed to re-book flights and once you book a flight, you have to keep it.

Is that new this season?

I like that rule, but I could see how that could introduce some logistics issues for the crew if teams are on too many different flights. Also, it adds a bit of strategy as if you are first to the airport, you had better be right as there's no checking with teams ahead of you to see what they are on.

That was the dentist that said that. I'm pretty sure he referred to it as a "new rule this season".

Don't ever make the MISTAKE of buying a Samsung TV..
They consider THIS
normal on a two month old set..

It's a shame that in the end TCU's playoff chances all came down to this . . .

yes, it's a new rule and I really like it. Now you an rub it in their face when you get a better flight and they can't do anything about it.

He never noticed that the judge always walked to a particular area looked down, turned and then failed them. That was a big tell.

I really hope the Wrestlers win it all, they are funny and just overall seem cool most of the time. I loved the look into the camera last week the chick gave when they were doing the fish challenge.

I have been all for the surfers and sort of anti-wrestlers. Now, especially after last night, I'm coming around on the wrestlers. Sure they're full of themselves but that's par for the course for the wrestling business. Also it seems most of the dentist's comments on the intelligence of their competition seem mostly directed at the wrestlers. That's bad form and puts them at the bottom of the rankings while elevating the wrestlers.

At this point, I'd take anyone but the dentists winning.

Interesting that we'll have a final four. I knew something was up when we didn't get a "last team to arrive will be eliminated" from Phil at the start of the show.

Hope they do a very hard metal final challenge. They've been way too easy the last few years.

The Wrestlers are growing on me. Another challenge where Brooke does better than Robbie. She was pretty rusty at the beginning of the basketball challenge but she definitely picked it up. I get the impression that Robbie was a chubby nerd in high school and then lost the weight and hit the gym after graduation. He's not very sports oriented and afraid of animals. Anyone else feel like the surfers' opponents took it easy on them?
