The two teams that had major trouble making adobe bricks never really picked up on the easily understood demonstrations. It was pathetic.

I couldn't be happier seeing Haley possibly lose the race because of her mistake. The most annoying person I have ever seen on this show.

RIP John, my best friend. Oct 17th 1966 - Nov 13th 2010

I agree she was the worst. I felt bad for her partner who I thought was a great guy. Judging how late they arrived at the end, they must have had a difficult time getting into the shed and/or arranging the photos.

The moving the cattle challenge was even easier than the ice cream challenge from the past. All they had to do was ride the horse and follow the guys actually doing the work.

The monster truck part looked pretty rough, drive a truck through water.

I have a feeling the cowboys were afraid of the horses being too out of control or more likely the contestants hurting the horses.

IDK about you guys but I kinda felt like the ending was ... meh. No real excitement like in past seasons, no exciting mat chat. Just... "do you guys think you found love? No? Well, crap, what am I supposed to say now?" from Phil.

Holding the fort on old games that play the same as the new ones, minus the $400 price tag.

I kept thinking the whole time that the final leg was pretty tame for a final leg.

I'm so glad psycho girl didn't win but too bad for her partner. He was collateral damage when Karma dropped the bomb on her. And he didn't rub her face in it. They have to bring him back with a partner of his own choosing. That just wasn't fair.

The ultimate irony is when they were asked if they would run the race again with each other. He said as long as she doesn't scream at him. And she said as long as he listened to her. Well, they lost first place because they followed her directions to the wrong place!

Going into the final, I was hoping Mike and Rochelle would somehow pull it out. After that, the order in which they finished was how I was hoping it would be.

And I agree with the others, if it weren't for Hayley, I would actually be rooting for Blair. There is no way I would have lasted that long without screaming at her to shut the F up.

The “out of gas” thing, and the “blind Hayley” thing completely ruined the final for me. I didn’t even watch the rest of the episode, just the finish.
I hate those stupid things. We can’t I have a normal race? Season was the best up to this point. I liked most teams, almost didn’t have a favored one.

Agreed. Honestly I only half-watched the final as I was doing other things. Saw who the winners were and was happy with the outcome. Didn't like Phil constantly trying to push the love angle and really liked that every time they were asked, Laura & Tyler just said they were having a great time running the race.

I mean, *I* could fall in love with her, but it's cool if Tyler didn't!

Any Jackie (the showgirl) fans might be interested to know that her and "whatever his name was" entered the Big Brother house as
contestants tonight. And Phil is heading up some kind of "BB Takeover" this week.. something that I don't fully understand how it works yet.

I believe it's time to Overthrow VerticalScope..

The last thing I expected was a BB spoiler in the Amazing Race thread.

New season started last night. Fun romp with the right team eliminated. I couldn't believe how inept they were in the in beach soccer challenge.

Also, the guy on the team who won the first flight, sure lost his cool before it was over. It was embarrassing.

It always gets me that at the start of the season, the contestants are cheery, upbeat, energetic and ready to roll .. get to episode 2 or 3 and things always begin to change .. however, this season, things started to unravel for some early on ..

I totally knew the TMZ chicks once they said they were from TMZ. The short girl the second I saw her, I was like, I know her from some where.

The TMZ product placement t-shirts got me .. I wondered if TMZ paid for placement .. and it looks like no selfie cameras this season ... yay ...

I always kinda wondered why the Race apparently does not allow personal cameras .. you can keep a notebook, but no camera .. ??

Bummer on the TMZ girls going out early. Seems like their interviews making fun of the other teams could have been entertaining.

We found that guy extremely annoying. Hoping they are the next team to go sooner than later...

The cheerleaders seemed like they would be a bit high maintenance for TAR. And a little high strung.

Yes, but those white bikini's were, you must admit, quite nice ..

I think the Brazilian volley ball players probably cut the Teams a little slack ..

The one that said she didn't want to lose because she's never lost at anything before. Ugh!

But more bikini challenges please. And no North Pole challenges!

I wonder how and when the produces of the show decided its time to fill the containers with some cardboard. Do they tell the people hold on, we need to fill some up? Or are they spread out so far they can just do it quickly? I dunno, but pretty obvious they were putting cardboard in them.

Yeah.. neatly bundled and even marked as recyclable.

And I'm ready for Justin (the town crier) to be gone from the game. He's been on my nerves since the outset.

Yes, I kinda did wonder when there seemed to be so much "new" cardboard .. whether or not the bins were "salted", I'd guess we'll never know, but in an area where folks apparently make their living from cardboard, if I were one, I'd have my palm out for some money or at least a portion of that "new cardboard" ..

I wondered about that 'make a living' statement. That could mean they are just paid city employees. In that sense, trash truck drivers "make a living" from our trash, right?

Jeez, does Argentina have a bad stray dog problem or what? I felt so bad for them, especially the one that was limping.

I record everything, but when I commercial skip and see the Amazon.com commercial with the limping dog I stop and watch it. Can't help myself.
