the easiest way to do it is to store it in your memory banks ...I think that's what separates the hard core fans from the casual fans...it's the smaller details that make this show so great...as far as spoilers there's only 1 thing which the show will most likely get to this season which is in the books...it involves Sam...other then that the show is ahead or will not revisit certain aspects that have already been bypassed

Finished S6 last night. A few thoughts off the top o' me head.

Never count Cersei out

It was great seeing The Hound again

Don't get on Ayra's list

Watching Ramsay get his comeuppance was satisfying

And those dragons are freaking awesome!

Agree with most of your points

We are long over due for the next short install. Damn the marketing dheads who split up the last sessions and the story teller for basking in his own stew for so long. He has his right to languish, and we deserve something for waiting so long for the great story to close.

It will be a miracle if Money doesn't kill the story in the end.

Whoa. Begs the question: what can stop a dragon that powerful, let alone three of them?

Well, could two smaller ones, being warged into, turn on Big Boy? So, it ends up being two slightly smaller, quicker, fighters taking on a bigger stronger, slower one, in a SPECTACULAR fight sequence!!

Otherwise, I suppose you could keep attacking the wings, because I suspect that they could be damaged enough to ground the creature, then the Ice King could just keep throwing infantry at it until it tires to the point of vulnerability. And, my GOD wouldn't THAT be an incredible scene???

Well, you figure that in the imaginary world this show is set in, there were once a lot of dragons and after that world's evolutionary path expanded them to that size, there were a lot of them. Yet they were pushed to the brink of extinction anyway. Probably by men, as both species seemed to once exist simultaneously.

And to expand on that thought, where are the other extremely large animals those dragons would have cooked & eaten? After all, in our world, the carnivorous dinosaurs grew super-sized because they had super-sized herbivores upon which to dine.

^^ this...we already saw this happen in Season 5 during the arena battle where Dany and her group were surrounded by the Sons of Harpy...the Harpy kept throwing spears at Drogons' wings and he seemed to be injured...so all you really need are archers or infantry with spears (and hope that the dragons don't stay airborne for too long)

probably past his teens and into early adulthood at that time... ...now that he's close to his prime I could see his wings being thicker/stronger but the same basic strategy would probably work...just would take more arrows/spears...every animal has a weak point, even mythological ones...even Smaug was taken down with a perfect bow shot

I re-watched Season 6 over the weekend and was blown away again. Everything about the show is brilliant. Can hardly wait for Season 7. How many episodes are left until the end of the series? I think the number has been made known but I can't remember what it is.

HT setup: Sony 75XBR X940D UHD HDR TV; Kaleidescape Strato Movie Server 6 TB; Yamaha RX-A3060 AV receiver; Sonamp 2-1 2channel 100W power amp; Crestron Control System; 2 Rythmik FV18 subwoofers, 6 Hsu HB-1 Bookshelf speakers, 1 Hsu HC-1 Center speaker, 4 Focal ICW8 in-ceiling Atmos speakers; Oppo UDP-203 4K HDR BD player; Mac Mini HTPC. TiVO Bolt 1TB DVR; TiVo Premiere Elite 2 TB DVR

7 episodes this season and 6 episodes next (although there are rumors it could be anywhere from 6-8)

The link above page text indicated he is now the size of a 747 with a 30 ft diameter flame blast radius .. so, obviously, he was less than full grown in Season 5, thus still an adolescent .. spears and arrows may not be proportionately the size of toothpicks, but the bigger the beast, the less effect they would have ..

Spears and arrows won't have the velocity needed to hit a dragon flying from above. The dragon can strike from above doesn't have to land.

I have Seasons 1-6 all on Blu-Ray, but I'm only just now starting on Season 3 on my re-watch. I'm contemplating skipping forward to 5 or 6, just so I can be good and fresh when Season 7 hits. But it's tough - all of the episodes are so good! Especially with full lossless audio content.

Yes, especially in terms of how they flew, the lift and drop of a large, heavy animal. Very realistic. You know that groundbreaking CGI work had to be the model for Drogon & his siblings.

And the movie itself was great. MM chews scenery like few others.

Yeah but it required a black arrow and those are not available in the GOT world.

There's also the railroad tunnel sized plume of flame coming out at you making things difficult.

there's always a weakness...some exploit...if not the dragons would be world beaters with nothing to stop them and that wouldn't be fun...I'm thinking at least one of the 3 dragons will be killed in the upcoming season...otherwise Dany will just run through everyone and claim the Iron Throne...
