Quite simply a superb way to end it, they went out as they came in, bad ass till the end...the homage to Easy Rider was the icing on the cake, the cherry on the top...
Of course I'm going to kill you..leave him guessing and looking over his shoulder ...just brilliant..R.I.P. Strike Back....

Kind of amusing that they are heading to Vegas, be funnier if Scott said afterwards they would be going to NYC.

The were riding on U.S. Route 97. Probably entered from Canada at Osoyoos. For Stonebridge it's two junctions and a straight shot to Las Vegas and a name change. Scott and son will probably catch a flight to the East Coast. Good job guys!

I guess I am having a senior moment but could you guys clarify the motivations! Other than going rogue why was there orders from on high to take out all 3 of them?
So both of them manage to escape but Scott played out like he was killed and Stonebridge is OK, Was there something about Scott that required him to fake his death?

BTW, the ending also reminded me of the way another show ended:
Spoiler!

You don't look for a dead man.

I assume the deal was with North Korea to hush everything up. All actors dead and it never happened.

Just a late farewell to one show I will honestly miss .. over our short time together, I really grew to enjoy .. it's funny how something can grow on you .. the final scene may have been as perfect an ending as any show ever had ..

Couldn't agree more! Strike Back did great stuff with over the top silliness and good humor. I'll miss it too. I've been watching the boys in their new series, The Player and Blindspot. As much as I liked Winchester and Stapleton in this show, both are trapped in new series that are mediocre at best.

It's funny you say that, since I feel the same way about The Player and Blindspot .. I also felt it somewhat odd that they both ended up on the same network .. I gave up on The Player since I just had to cull the herd so to speak, and Blindspot is just not doing much for me either, so it may go out of the rotation soon unless something compelling happens ..

I'm still watching both The Player and Blindspot but their grasp on my attention is tenuous.

Great show...eps 7,8,9 and 10 of S1 with the boys were high water marks...it never got better and slightly worse. They ended at the right time. Regrets...Stonebridge needed to get laid after wifey croaked. Rhona should have had at least 3 full frontals in the season and a half she was there.

I don't lurk as much as I used to and I NEVER listen. Comes from being old and cynical.

Now that I've dropped The Player I wish Winchester had managed to stay on with Section 20. Or even joined up with the folks in Crossing Lines.

Picked up the Blue Ray yesterday. Sorta sad to see the caption "Final Season" but it went out on a high note. It got a very nice review on Blu-ray.com.

Cinemax is resurrecting Strike Back with an entirely new cast

Almost sounds like "Scorpion" but cinemaxed up.

http://www.avclub.com/article/cinema...ew-cast-247155

Here’s some good news for fans of Cinemax’s action series Strike Back: After ending in 2015, the show is now coming back for a fifth season. Also, here’s some bad news for fans of Cinemax’s action series Strike Back: The fifth season will have an entirely new cast, and nobody knows if any of the original stars will return at all.

This comes from The Hollywood Reporter, which says the showrunner will be Jack Lothian, who wrote a few episodes of the show’s fourth season. The story also says that the new season will focus on a newly restored incarnation of the Section program, with a new team being tasked with hunting down a “notorious terrorist” who has broken out of prison. There will also be a “deadly conspiracy” that “threatens to overwhelm them all and change the face of modern warfare forever.” So that sounds like fun.

THR also has a little breakdown of the new team members, and they include a gear-head who is “honest to the point of bluntness,” a “barroom philosopher who works best alone,” a woman who “excels at psychological profiles,” and “a man of his word.”

"Nowadays, you can just click a button and buy a book, meet your spouse or ruin someone's life. Sometimes those last two are the same thing." John Oliver.

Cinemax Revives ‘Strike Back’ for Rebooted Season With New Cast

http://variety.com/2016/tv/news/stri...st-1201937496/

The new, revitalized version on Cinemax will star Alin Sumarwata, Daniel MacPherson, Roxanne McKee and Warren Brown. Andy Harries, an alum of the “Strike Back” franchise, brought back the series, which hails from his Left Bank Pictures. Jack Lothian is the writer and showrunner.

“Strike Back’s” reboot, which will film in 2017, centers around the Section program that is restored, in order to track down a notorious terrorist following a brutal prison break. Tasked with covert military intelligence and high-risk operations, the resurrected unit embarks on a lethal manhunt that will uncover a vast web of interconnected criminal activity. As the team journey across the Middle East and Europe, they uncover a deadly conspiracy which threatens to overwhelm them all and change the face of modern warfare forever.
Sumarwata will play Gracie Novin, a gear-head who is looking to make the step up; Macpherson will play Samuel Wyatt, a bar-room philosopher who works best alone and has no intention of being dragged into a team situation; McKee will play Natalie Roberts, who comes from a military family, excels at psychological profiles and seeking weaknesses in others, although she might be blinded to her own fault-lines; Brown will play Daniel “Mac” Macallister, a man of his word, physically capable, driven by a desire to avenge the team he’s lost.

As long as things still have big explosions and there are few gratuitous sex scenes AND a really nasty villain, I'm in ..

Yes, there are plenty of jar-head types capable of pulling off the action buddy genre. I assume they are all new characters anyway.
