This is one of those ridiculous plot points, like texting from the situation room or the Iranian intelligence official sneaking into the US and sneaking back into Iran as a US mole.

Saul isn't director of the CIA any longer but for the ISI to abduct him would be a big deal in real life.

Homeland still demonstrates that it's allergic to plausibility.
