But we do agree that he is definitately a ghost, right? If he killed all of those kids 17 years ago or so (the one girl said she would be 35 now) then he must have died around the same time. He doesn't seem to have visible wounds, so I'm thinking he didn't turn the gun on himself.

He is definitely a ghost. Certainly they will do an episode on him at some point that explains his back story, much like they did with Moria the maid.

+1.

Syler was my fave from HEROES, before the show spun out of control & I lost all interest. But that first season......good stuff

Quinto was also great as Spock, even nailing young Nimoy's speech patterns/mannerisms & holding his own alongside the "real thing" in the scene the 2 shared in TREK. Loved when he uttered "fascinating" & gave the slight eyebrow tweak.

Thought he turned in another great performance on AHS - and something different than the 2 previous roles he is most known for.

Originally it seemed like only those buried there were stuck at the house, but seeing all of the ghosts walking back into the house the morning after Halloween seems to indicate otherwise. I wonder why the gay couple and the doctor's wife waited until Halloween to show themselves, though...

Also, it seems strange to me that ghosts can apparently harm each other. Otherwise why/how would the group of high school ghosts be able to threaten Nate? It seems he has no memory of his "living" life, or at least the things he did.

Good posting.

Yeah, I was confused about the high school ghosts threatening Tate as well.
They're all dead, what harm can they do to each other?

I guess he did a small "killing spree" at his school.
No marks on Tate was weird. If he shot himself, he would still have that visible wound I would assume.

Unless the wounds are under his clothes somewhere.

Drug overdose, drowning, poison ...

I would not be surprised if his mother killed him when she realized what he did.

Love this show. I like that there are long stretches where intense, crazy stuff happens every five seconds. Keeps you on the edge the entire episode.

Adelaide was still alive on the street. EMTs wanted to transport her to the hospital but her mother, Constance, dragged to to the PROPERTY where she died in her arms. I'm not sure it was the murder property or another site. Does anyone remember the exact location? It must have some significance or else why would they write in such a scene. I think we WILL see Adelaide again.

That was my take on it. The question was, was Adelaide dead or alive when Constance got her dragged onto the house property? That will determine whether we see her again.

I think she was too late. She seemed very upset when she found out she was dead when got her to the grass. If her goal was to do that, she should have been relieved, not upset.

Further, in the last episode, she clearly told the daughter to keep the death from her son.

If the show runs long enough she can definitely come back next Halloween even if the haunted sidewalk didn't resurrect her in time.

I just re-watched the scene and I think you're right. Mother pushed the EMTs away and said that she must get Adelaide to the grass before she died. She dragged her along the street muttering, "just a few more feet." When she finally made it there, she looked at Adelaide and exclaimed, "Oh, no" and screamed. There was no sign of life. She was too late. So, no ghost Adelaide - which is actually too bad because that could have made many frightening possibilities.

There's still plenty of bizarre ways to bring her back. They have all that equipment in the basement to reanimate her or she could possess the unborn child and be reborn.

I wouldn't rule out anyone staying "dead" on this show. Even if they are not house ghosts.
