Reese murdered "lethal injection guy", he had ceased being a threat, but he injected him anyway, I find that mildly disturbing.

I disagree, he only ceased being a threat because of the injection.

The way I see it once Reese got control of the needle arm, the guy was a threat no longer, he could have snapped his arm or knocked him out instead, he usually tries not to kill people.

Threat to him or society? I think it's clear they are portraying him as someone who doesn't sweat the details... more of a big picture guy... plenty of gray in his black and white.

Baffling episode. Why would you pay money for the "tape". Why is it a "tape" anyway. Can I come back later and sell you a copy of the "tape"? Then even later a copy of the copy? Then maybe we can move on to emailing you the copies each week and just charging your paypal account?

Where do they get this stuff from? Barnaby Jones? Rockford Files? Mannix?

The films of De Sica, of Welles, of Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger made little money and endure as spiritual delights.

My guess is that's why they tried to kill them... hopefully the tape dies with them.

Yeah finally an episode that was worth watching, barely. I hope the girl will be asked to join the team. Let's face it the two-man vigilante team is not very appealing. It's time they bring in a skirt. She is very capable and will make a great female counterpart to plain super badass Reese.

Where was dirty cop? Didn't even see him at the police station.

I can't say enough about getting some of the technical details right, even in a movie. The time frame in the movie is sometime after 9/11, which is pretty much present time. Details like you don't grab someone who is influential and will be missed by a whole lot of people in the middle of the day while her driver watches nearby.

"Batman" (Caviezel) is just the stoic muscle with a dark past.

It's not "another" Nolan in the credits of POI. Jonathan wrote The Dark Knight screenplay along with Christopher. He also wrote the story for Memento, which Christopher made a screenplay of and directed and is one of my all time favorites. I'm really enjoying this show. Interesting thought on having the woman join up. That might really work.

I think that was in reference to the cop that sold them out. I assumed that Zoe had kept some evidence just in case.

I think it would be interesting to have her join the cast, but I think this was a one off. Maybe if enough fans voice their opinions, they will bring her back in a recurring role.

Inconsistency and mysteries:

1. The murder of fat blackmailer after the ransom payment is absurd. This would only make sense if they didn't know who he was. But they already knew who he was. Killing him earlier would have saved them some money and a lot of trouble later.

2. How did Reese and Finch acquire the tape? I never saw Morgan giving it to them.

3. They apparently didn't trip any alarm when broke into the drug company. Why did Morgan have to tell the cop not to intervene?

4. Reese killed a guy and yet there was no police investigation. Seriously?

5. Morgan, the skirt, will be back. At the end, she told Reese he has her number.

Liked the Morgan character. She adds some diversity. I hope they make her a regular. Maybe there's an opportunity for a little love interest tension between Reese and Morgan. The show needs something like that.

She also played April O'Neill in a couple of Teenage Mutant Turtle movies too. Don't ask me how I know this without having to check IMDB!!!

I really like this show, but the one thing about the premise that drives me crazy is that with all the crime in NYC, the machine always spits out the number of one that is just about to happen. (wouldn't it occassionally give them a number for crime that might not happen for 6 months?) And last night the coincidence was too much to overlook--the machine spits out the name of the witness of a crime that the detective who is following Reese was investigating. What are the outrageous odds of that? How many crimes happen daily in NYC? And how many detectives aer there investigating those crimes? I know this isn't exactly supposed to be realistic, but it also isn't supposed to be science fiction. Like I said, I like the show....just my one little complaint.

Think of it this way, the machine monitors all communications, video, etc. etc. so it spit the number out because so much was going on with that person, including being actively followed, etc. I don't think the machine was designed to kick out something so far in the future. Its for something that the government needs to investigate. Something to far out they wouldn't have enough information. The closer it gets to the time, the more data that event will have and thus more likely to be spit out.

Sure its a stretch but I don't watch the show for reality, especially with a machine that can supposedly analyze every video and communication happening in the country.

With the two (currently) primes and the victim/perpetrator/vigilante aspect, we may have something here.

This week's victim/perpetrator aspect was very well done in all respects.

With regards to the two primes, I think Emerson is the most intriguing so far.

Great episode! Didn't see the end coming at all. I really love this show. Great use of surround sound in the scene where the Russians were searching the apartments.

Any off you watched Numb3rs? This show is somewhat similar and has replaced my fix for it.
