His shows include LOST (the second greatest TV show ever made....Babylon5 being number one), Alias, Revolution, Alcatraz, Fringe and Almost Human.
is going to have a backstory that will run the whole series and it will be interesting, mysterious and wild.
People who want nice safe procedurals need to look for shows from Dick Wolf, Donald Bellisario...I cannot think of anyone else because I don't watch their shows!

Good to see Zoe back!

Since we last saw you, Carter, Shaw and Root have departed. Not that being a female on this show is a jinx or anything.

Another superb episode and the POI Gods must have been listening since they granted PittCaleb with an old school procedural outing just like he wanted. This is probably going to make it hard for him to leave

At this point everything about POI is jut effortless and hitting everything put of the ball park. I can't believe I'm saying this but CBS' other gem "The Good Wife" which last season was in a whole different league has been supplanted by POI at this point. This all started by that wonderful season finale from last year which set the course for this season and has exceeded all expectations so far. It is now easily the best show on broadcast tv and running neck and neck with "The Americans" for bragging rights for the best scripted show on television period!

IMHO

In your universe perhaps.........neither of those shows interested me. Life is depressing enough without it being performed for me. The shows I like are generally set in fantasy or hyper-reality. Your shows were loved by their audience and most critics. I do respect that.

And that is why there is something out there for everyone. Even nice safe procedurals.

Anybody see Wednesday night's episode of Empire on Fox?

I'm surprised no one has said anything about Tajari's clothing (or lack thereof ) reveal (plus butt slap) on last night's episode. If that had been done by her Joss Carter character on POI, either Fusco or Finch would be having serious heart palpitations.

I wonder what the stars of the original 'Hawaii Five-O' (note the difference, letter ''O' vs. numeric '0') - if they're still alive - think of the new version vs. the original.

I tune in to watch McGarrett and his sidekick speeding down a road while immersed in conversation. Sometimes McGarrett will go more than 5 seconds without even peeking at the road. Why the driver of a car must look at the person he's engaging in conversation is the question I'd ask.

I mention that to my wife often as she insists I read an article she shoves in front of me while I am driving.

FINALLY caught up. Really uneasy, but as a whole still love this show. Binge watching isn't the best way for this show, although I'd be painful to wait every week too. I need some fuzzy puppies now...

Quite an emotional episode, actually.

Very excited to see Paige Turco back. I thought we'd not see Zoe again when I heard she landed as a regular on CW's The 100.

The ending was perfection in dialogue. The whole "we can't do this alone" really harkened back to the beginning. Man, this show is good!

Deception between Claire and Harold was great to watch. I really enjoyed that until Root showed up. I used to like her when she was bad. Now I find her annoying.

Claire seems starting to get, that something isn't quiet right with "Team Samaritan". I'd love to see here in the right team.

I'm the exact opposite about Root. I couldn't stand her in the beginning and wanted her gone, but now that she is Team Machine I think she's great. I'd even go so far as to say she's my favorite character on the show now.

I forgot Dominic was still roaming around until last night's episode. Interesting plot line.

As I expected, the crew will need more help to get Samaritan and Root finally said so. It will be interesting to see if some characters from earlier episodes this season are some of the people that come in.

Harrold and Root mentioned Shaw, as if they were resigned to that she is dead. When did they give up their pursuit. Last I thought it when they traced to upstate NY, only to realize she never left Manhattan. Then they showed the old British geezer talking to her

so have Harrold and co. given up on her until sweeps week?

She said she can't see working for 24 months after giving birth to twins. Notice when she was talking to the old geezer she was in bed with her pregnant stomach covered. They have to let that storyline go for a season and a half or so.

After learning she would be out of commission Shahi made another hard decision: To be the best mother she can be to her two newborns (plus she is also mother to a 5-year-old), she is going to take a significant amount of time off the series. With the blessing of showrunners Jonathan Nolan and Greg Plageman as well as CBS and all the production companies involved with "Person of Interest," she is taking probably two years off with the intention of returning farther down the road.

I guess we might get side missions with Root out of this in the meantime along with the usual numbers of the week episodes.
