Not about the game broadcast, but a question about Football Night in America. I noticed today during the highlights portion, there was no Fox "bottom line" nor was there the CBS ticker at the bottom. How do they get a feed without just the bottom line portions, but still have the score graphics at the top?

Thanks. Does that mean that when the signal leaves the stadium, there is no bottom line score graphic, but is added somewhere along the way?

Correct, the bottom line tickers are added downstream of the truck feed in the studio.

Comcast Phila/South Jersey
Great picture and audio through the HD Comcast box in my home theater. The TV on the other side of the room at my bar was getting broken audio and pixelation using just the direct cable to the HDTV. However, once I switched over to the standard def DTV box it's fine..Not sure why that is happening.

PQ and AQ excellent. Watching WKYC Cleveland OTA (one weather subchannel) on a 50" 1080p display.

My only gripe is the tinted area below the bottom line score bar. Just get rid of it. Never understood what the graphics people are thinking when they have useless elements like this.

I agree that the tint area on the screen is an eyesore.

checking in...

pq VERY good. especially considering game is inside. seems like dome games are difficult... gotta say it again, nbc has come a LONG way from 2 years ago... kudos...

aq up to expected standards. nice music choices wendell with all the atlanta/georgia hooks...

fios, south jersey.

edit: agree on tint. at least it's better than the crosshatch they used to use...

Great work on the replays for that review, with the zooming in to the feet and then the control of the ball.

Agree with everyone who says NBC's PQ is outstanding on this broadcast. Colors and contrast are perfect, and watching OTA means little to no compression, which means no dancing grass. It's gorgeous. I, too, could do without the tinted bottom.

Watching OTA on WAFF in Huntsville, AL. Coming from D*, which I used to think looked beautiful, I have to say good HD OTA is spectacular, and it's free!

Watched on WDIV-DT NBC Detroit, one additional subchannel, both OTA & Comcast.

Complex scenes with motion created medium to heavy blocking; every time with a head shot of a player while panning the background went into blocks. The rest of the time it was fine.

fox, abc, and espn all need to learn from what nbc has done to improve the quality of its sports programming. it was horrible 2-3 years ago and now its right up there with cbs.

kudos

Watched OTA here in ATL. Nice PQ. Game was OK, but nothing to shout about. Home Team 1/1

Network still trying to make some kind of drama with MV.
