Surprise, surprise. Fox crams the Falcons down our throats here in Knoxville because we are 3.5 hours away. But when they play my team (Tampa Bay), we don't get that game. Same thing happened last year.

I'm guessing that Oklahoma City will get the Minnesota/Detroit game. The Giants/Eagles will be a better game, but OKC likes to see Adrian Peterson play.

Edit: Well, we did get the Giants/Eagles, and it was a good game. But when that ended we got the end of the Vikings/Lions game, and that was good too.

I'm surprised that more of the South didn't get Atlanta/Tampa.

Chargers had to get an extension from the NFL to sell the remaining 3,900 tickets by 1:05pm PT tomorrow in order to lift the blackout. Although I suppose if the NFL feels that tickets are being sold at pace they feel is adequate, they could grant the team a rare second extension. Needless to say if the blackout isn't lifted I will have to "shift" my location on my phone to an area outside the blackout zone or to an area that isn't televising the game on local tv.

And the FOUL!

Whenever a game gets an extension it always sells out cause that means there is already a plan in place (team, sponsor etc.) to buy the remaining tix.

9% of the country is getting the game so about the same as last year.

Last year when they played week 9 went to 13% & the week 13 game went to 9%.

I'd be willing to bet we'll get the crummy ATL-SEA game next week.

It's official, blackout lifted for Chiefs @ Chargers. Sorry, Bolts fans, it's the only game on CBS that day for us in San Diego. And they'll probably lose...

Uh yeah. The Chargers have a tendency over the years to be far healthier than the opposition, yet manage to find a way to lose.

See Chargers (at home) vs. Houston Oilers (now known as Tennessee Titans) in playoffs. Oilers should have been creamed. Oilers won 17-14.

Just barely. I think they were down a few players. Injury bugaboo is hitting them (as well as a lot of other teams) as well.
