I'll also mention that it was nice not to have the massive fruit spam in this episode, but the constant plugs for Parks and Recreation were equally annoying.

Another Grimm Fan here:

My family and I watch Grimm each week; we delight in its humor. My wife is Filipino and usually doesn't get every joke on most shows, but for some reason the humor on Grimm is easy for her to get. I know it isn't because the the humor is simple or stupid; I think it is quite clever. It just seems that she is really in tune with the characters to such an extent that any incidental look, shrug or comment is not missed by her.

She loves Munroe and his hottie girlfriend. She thinks Munroe is the funniest thing on TV. I'm lucky she likes genre shows like this and Alphas.

You'd think they'd know after all these decades not to schedule programs which attract similar demographics at the same time. It hurts the ratings for both programs, since not everyone has a DVR.

Did not bother me last season as will this season. I record them both and watch on a DVR when I'm able to sit down and enjoy it without rushing through the episode. If they don't have a DVR that's by their choice. I didn't at one time also in my life.

I'm more concerned about the decrease in Nielsen ratings that this will cause, meaning that the advertisers will pay less and thus there will be less incentive to renew the show for another season. This is the last season for Fringe, and it's supposed to be only about a dozen episodes, but that still might be enough.

Yeah I liked Grimm on Mondays, Fridays not so much, I rarely see any TV on Fridays, only watched this show, but a lot of people don't watch TV Fridays, so they send the shows there to die.

Monroe as hilarious as ever, and what he said to Hank.. LOL

So will they also include Sgt. Woo into the secret of the Wessen?

RIP Mom, we always love you 8/18/13

Yup: Grimm and co. came into his apartment while he was eating the rug and got him to drink a potion that cured him.

I would love to see Sgt. Woo in the inner circle. I really like his character on the show and I think he could add a lot of smart alec remarks if he knew what was going on. Plus, he's kind of earned it, don't you think? smile.gif

Physically, no, he just got blood on his uniform. Both knives landed on opposite sides of his head when she fell on top of him. Judging by his performance, though, the encounter probably caused some emotional trauma, which might indicate that it was the first time he had to kill someone.

The writers haven't done much to make him more than occasional comic relief and the guy who gives the initial rundown at each crime scene, so I would be highly surprised if he got included in the Scooby Gang. I wouldn't want him to join, either, unless his character were to become more useful and interesting first.

He is a character that could be eliminated. However, he stays in the show and isn't just comic relief although he provides that. I get the feeling that a lot of these decisions have to do with the interpersonal relationships in the cast/crew and how they feel about the character. You always hear about characters that were only meant to have two or three shows sticking around for years just because they fit in well. (See Spike from Buffy for example).

Jerry. Just remember. Its not a lie . . . if you believe it. GC

Lol. I pulled a Tugg Speedman and went full ret@rd. My DVR didn't record the first few episodes, so I've been watching them on NBC.com. I just realized I've been watching in reverse order. D'oh!

Agreed.
He is a great character in a small role.

My wife and I joked, in the first few episodes of Season 1, that Woo was the only one to solve the crime.

Scene: Grimm and Hank looking at their computers at their desks. Woo comes in with some key piece of evidence that's the break to the mystery "Hey, look what I just found..." or "The coroner's report just came in..." or "Somebody just phoned in a tip..."

I think the writers got wise to this and started mixing it up. As much as I like the actor and the character, I don't think he would add much to the Scooby Gang. Monroe is already the wise-cracker/comic relief (Shaggy/Scooby) and Hank is the non-Wesen newbie. Woo would be redundant. Maybe he can play the Scooby role to Monroe's Shaggy role?

Did anyone see the actor in the new Batman movie? It was not much of a stretch. Another bit role as a cop. He looked like he just drove over from the Grimm set to the movie set and didn't even have to change costumes.

I'm all caught up now, and in reverse order even. So the Captain is a prince? And barely human according to the Hexenbeast. Does his "pure of heart" continue or is it over when he disspells the contents the drink?

That was indicated, but we don't entirely know what it means....as those pieces of the puzzle haven't been fully unraveled.

I believe the captain is a half blood prince, the bastard son of someone. At least that's what I gather from some of the conversations.

He is a bastard son of one of the Royal Seven Houses, who evidently used to rule the world. The actor, Sasha Roiz, also clarified what CPT Renard is in this interview. I did not pick up what the transformation was meant to show from what we saw in "The Kiss", but I guess I was hoping for something else. The Royals apparently employed Grimm when possible and had specially trained folks to kill other Grimm (presumably unaligned Grimm as well as the Grimm of your enemy). The next best thing to employing a Grimm, is to control and influence one...

Grim vs Reaper. Seems like balancing character classes in video-games.

Just saw last weeks episode.
What's up with that cat? It had some kind of super strength. Will that rub off on Nicks girlfriend?
Love Munroe and his girlfriend....she's even hot when she changes into her Wesen form.
And I swear I've seen Woo play a cop in a billion movies/shows.

I've never seen those shows, but I was kind of exaggerating when I said a billion.
In the last month I've seen him play a cop in the dark knight rises, crazy stupid love and grimm. I know I've seen him in an older show playing a cop but I don't remember what it was.
So when I see the same actor play the same role in three different project in one month it feels like a billion...I shouldn't of sworn to a billion, my bad.
