I hope we get an explanation for why Nick is still zombified, but I expect it won't come for a while, considering how much this show's writers enjoy wasting time. The Adalind thing was midly amusing for one episode, but now it's just annoying. Maybe she'll turn into this season's Juliette, and we'll be forced to watch her completing the various steps of this insanely long ritual throughout the entire season. rolleyes.gif

I hope not.
Adalind's rebirth better be done....it's past its expiration date.wink.gif

Ideally, we can now jump feet first into the Royal War.
However, it will still have to retain its Portland battleground and not transfer the story to Europe.

Refresh my memory, is that really Adilaind? I vaguely recall either someone morphing into her, or trading places with her last season. Seems like it was one of the old ladies.

I liked this episode. Grimm seems to have found its comfort zone. Its not great tv by a longshot, but its not really trying to be. Its entertaining, and I found that if I accept it for what it is and stop thinking about what it could be, I get sucked into the storyline. Its still got the crime procedural structure that I'm not too crazy about, but its being done a whole lot better than it was in the first season. Wonder where they are going in the Royal-Grimm plotline and what role Adeline is going to play?

It was definitely better then the last two zombie themed shows. I liked the physical of the Grimm. Hmmm, wonder if this new found health/endurance will last.

I agree that this episode was better, in spite of the "crime procedural structure."

The Up Side is all of the Good Guys are now back on the same page.
The Bad Side is we are not getting enough Adalind.....wink.gif

Adalind was much better when she was a fierce Hexenbiest. I don't care for this comic relief version of Adalind at all. I think she actually detracts from the show.

My dream for this show:

Dump Juliette

Make Adalind a "Wesson with a soul" and hook her up with the Grimm/slayer...

Angel was Greenwalt's character after all, it would be interesting to see him return to his roots..

I wouldn't go to the point of saying she "detracts," but she can be distracting (if you know what I mean wink.gif ).

They still need their evil-doers.  Maybe Adalind and the Chief get back together, and their political ambitions alternate between good or evil.  They fight to reclaim their child, and to become the ruling Royals. That bar fight evidence is just lying around; so either someone else finds it, or the Chief moves it to a safe place, to keep  his Grimm in line. Then they could all move to Vienna for the rest of the season.

I wish Nick had been shooting Monroe for real. Disrupting the Scooby gang would make this show more interesting. At least Juliette finally got to contribute in this episode, and it only took 47 of them for her to finally matter! rolleyes.gif

The Scoobys have been "disrupted" for quite awhile.

What? Surely you jest. Monroe is the best character on this show. Losing Juliette on the other hand would be addition by subtraction.

I prefer to think of them as the WesenBusters .. wink.gif

And I'd hate to see Monroe go ..

Monroe shouldn't die, but at least if he and Nick were feuding for real it would add another dynamic to an otherwise stagnant show. We aren't even getting new Wesen reveals anymore: they're just re-using old ones. Maybe Nick can save some money on rent by selling the trailer, now that he doesn't need to visit it anymore. tongue.gif

I really enjoyed last night's episode, The Wesson of the week was an interesting choice, and done brilliantly.

I thought so too, definitely enjoyed last night's episode. The deaf actress Stephanie Nogueras who played the young naiad Elly was the highlight of the show for me.

But the women are darn pretty.

Was that Joan of Arcadia's brother?

The writers missed their chance. They could have had JFK actually be a Wessen who had to be killed by a Grimm.
