I gotta admit, the last couple episodes helped suck me back in .. up until then, it was getting slightly boring and I was giving serious thought to ditching the show, but now I'm actually looking forward to the next episode ..

With the expansion of the WesenBusters Club via Wu (who is one of my favorite characters on the show .. I mean, he's at every crime scene, he can crack wise very well, he can act nutty really, really well, he's come a ways since "Prison Break" and "Persons Unknown" ((Remember that gem .. ??)) .. the "Biker Wesen", the "Wesenrein", things seem to be picking up ..

Portland apparently being the USA Hotbed of Wesenerati, the WesenBusters need to expand

And I can't wait for Monroe and Rosalee to have a child ... Blutbad + Fuchsbau .. "You see, this cat Shaft is one bad Mother... "
Kib and John dhein like this.

This is why we Oregonians are so lousy at catching Sasquatch.

Just spitballin' it here, but a guest appearance in a future episode might be in order .. turns out, Mr / Ms Sasquatch is actually a Wesen .. I'll leave it up to you to give it an appropriate Grimm name ..

Didn't we already see that Bigfoot was a Wildermann? Which appropriately turns out to be one of the episodes where Hank was still "seeing things"...

Hi,

Thanks so much for posting your thoughts. We got a very good episode Friday and there are still so many complaints.

I've been binge-watching the show with cousin that last few weeks to get him caught up. He likes the show as much as I do. He is hooked. We actually started watching episodes at 10 am in the morning and stopped from exhaustion at 3:30 am the next morning. I say all that to say this: "The show is as good today as it was from the start. Except for the Trubel debacle...the show has been amazingly consistent in quality and fun. They have over time taken care to craft long-form stories that work very well together.

The Wesenrien plot was tipped off as far back as Monroe's parents first meeting with Rosealee. Actually, there was an episode before that in which Monroe talked about some folks not liking "mixed" marriages. When Nick was blinded his hearing took a huge leap in ability that has remained consistent within the context of the show. Watching the season 2 and season 3 episodes in a row, you'd think you are watching a miniseries when you thread the back stories together.

I got some insights from my third viewing of the episodes that I didn't before. For example: Juliette Silverton's memory loss and subsequent return was very well represented by the huge open "holes" in her home signaling her new awareness that something was missing from her mind. Giant hole = missing memory. Awesome!

The last episode is about as dark a turn as I ever want to see this show take. Hopefully, there will be a lighter episode coming up soon. What I love most about this show is its characters and seeing them grow as they gain knowledge of the Wesen world.

The whole zombie thing is something that they are obviously saving for later. Every show makes things up as it goes along. It just depends on if they are making up good things that make sense or stupid things that make no sense. I feel that GRIMM has been doing a very good job of making things up. .

Thank you for that message. I could not agree more!! My only real frustration with the show has been how long it took them to bring Wu into the "Club." And I may be in the minority with respect to Trubel as I didn't mind it at all. Just like Don mentioned a few posts back, I watch and enjoy Grimm with my "Grimm glasses" and not with my "The Americans glasses." I look forward each Friday to the show and enjoy each episode very much. It reminds me of how much I enjoyed watching "Chuck." a few years back....

Chuck was a family favorite of ours too! I have to agree that GRIMM is in about the same mix of humor/drama/action. I guess I'm wearing my GRIMM-coloured glasses too! My wife and I are enjoying the show more than ever!

With GRIMM, Once Upon A Time and Person of Interest...........my eyes are feasting on some truly great entertainment.

I can't believe how much this show has improved. I really loved the last two episodes and from next week's preview it looks like more fun stuff to come.

For those who haven't watched it yet, I won't name names, but I was really afraid that one of my favorite secondary characters was going to kick the bucket tonight. I'm so glad it worked out the way it did. And they finally have a quality storyline for Juliette.

Kind of enjoyed the shot in the police station hallway when the whole gang were heading out for the rescue, however the producers really should have spent some cash getting the music rights to the first few riffs of George Thorogood's "Bad to The Bone"

Now if only this show were half as good as Buffy was, then we'd be all set. At least the last two episodes were above average.

Mainly because there was more group dynamics and they finally let Wu in and coincidently there's been no Royals stuff for a while.
