"Grimm" is a fun show set in a Fantasy World, at least IMO .. to compare it to "The Americans" gives new meaning to "apples and oranges" .. it would be stark and depressing if we all started discussions around the various Wesen motivations, angst and Mommy Issues ..

Point being, I'm pretty sure most here don't take the show very seriously .. and rightfully so .. why should we .. ??

I'll admit that I haven't watched The Americans, but from the little I've read about it it sounds like a completely different type of show. This kind of thinking is exactly why I pretty much quit reading this thread regularly around the end of season three. Obviously there's a wide range of shows out there when it comes to degree of seriousness, lightness vs heavy etc. Very clearly Grimm is well skewed toward the light end of the scale and has never been a serious type of show from the very beginning, and doesn't try to take itself seriously. Personally I'm quite happy to be able to enjoy/appreciate shows that are serious and highly serialized, as well as others that are less heavy and more designed for fun.

You don't see people spending their time talking about that, though, because the show has actual content worthy of discussion. Grimm could have been the same if they hadn't squandered the Royals and every other semi-interesting plot development over the years, but instead we have nothing to talk about, because we never see any progress. A show doesn't have to be "serious" to warrant discussion. Look at how much discussion takes place in the threads about superhero shows, for instance.

Being on the downside of 70, I don't particularly care for any of the ladies on the show.

There's not much to talk about, even as a wesen of the episode, there's some comment about the design or whether people like it or not or the story arcs that are pretty much aimless, which again, there's not much to talk about.

Anybody notice that the Airstream trailer is about twice as big inside as it is on the outside?

Nick chose light colors to make it look bigger on the inside.

I mentioned some time back that it had TARDIS linage. Lately however I am more concerned about its' electrical needs. It is way out in the woods and you don't hear a generator running. Last night Juliette had six or seven lamps on. The Wesen concept is more believable than Airstreams magic power supply.

Someone must have saved the best bits of a "Matança Zumbido" in a little jar... Maybe Nick should have restocked.

It seems like that Wesen could be very earth conscious and power his own house without any utility companies.

Based on the preview I'm thinking next week's villain might be in for a surprise with his choice of Juliet as leverage against Nick.

We have some very witty people around here....

Power supply?
Yeah, I wondered about that too...then I remembered it's a TV show.
Not ONLY that, but how the heck can Nick hide the trailer NEAR Portland (or anywhere in Oregon) without it being discovered and broken into by hooligans?
As an Oregon resident for the last 30+ years, I can assure you that isn't remotely (excuse the pun) possible.
They should have put some magic spell on the thing so that it's invisible or some such thing.

As for the hotness factor.....
Well, boys will be boys and some things can never change.
It's in our jeans genes to notice certain female attributes (sorry, I'm not in charge of hundreds of thousands years of evolution ).

Swine are good people too.

I agree. The trailer of Grimm-ness would actually be safer in another storage yard-was the old one the only one in all of Portland?

Dazed and confused over high tech.
