How is it that no one on the show figure out that the "stick" is a fragment of the cross of the crucifixion? Oh - I know - another example of "dragged out" writing.

I enjoy the Grimm mythology and all of the creatures that come with it. Adding religious mythology to the show would ruin it for me.

Cool GRIMM EP talks about the stick

All magic has consequences, series co-creator David Greenwalt warns, and Nick's mysterious stick is no different.
"That stick unlocks things that should never have been unlocked," the EP says. "There was a reason that was buried for all time."

And here I thought it was all to turn Eve back into Juliette when they re-cocked Hadrian's Wall and have an exciting season ender where Nick dies (again) ... but he's right, Juliette should never have been unlocked.

I was going to say "Do you think it will unlock Nick's Zombie Mode?", but even if the writers remember that, it only probably healed him of it ...

Nope, can't get rid of the main star's real life girlfriend, not only that but he's now directing episodes!

We can bet they get back together...

I don't know about anyone else, and I'm sure I will continue to watch since I have as much time as I do invested, however, I'm to the point where I'm pretty well ready for it to get wrapped up and end ..

My prediction is still "Eve" going back to being Juliette and marrying Nick.... in order for that to happen perhaps they will kill off Adalin and they take care of both children, perhaps have one of their own...

Sad that is the last season, even worse, a shorter season...

Didn't the same thing already happen on The Young and the Restless back around 1959?

Personally, I'm glad it's coming to the end of it's run .. (see post 2891) .. I can't believe this is the sixth season .. that's what happens when you devote time to a show and just keep watching, and watching .. sometimes wondering why ..

I might be the only one who liked the Juliette character. I have a thing for gaunt women with jet black hair. And then there's lovable Bud. So long buddy, we hardly knew you.

I predict the coins will feature prominently in this last season.

I much prefer Eve to Juliette. I also prefer Nick and Adeline.

Ok, we get 13 episodes to wrap up the coins and the stick. I guess the Royals are wiped out so that story arc is over. Wonder what they are going to do with caveman Wu.

How would that be religious mythology? Are there legends that wood from the cross has healing powers? I've sure never heard of that. They've already had non-wessen supernatural stuff on the show. It's a magic stick. The stick being a religious artifact somehow would cause the whole show to come off the rails? REALLY?!?!? Out of all the hokey plot twists and things they've done, a magical religious artifact is where you draw the line?

ps: Sorry for the late comment, I only finished up last season last night.

Yes. It's pretty common. Some believe that the wood was special and others believe that it was the blood from Jesus that got onto the wood that gave it healing powers.

Also, the TV show "Zero Hour" featured it as well.

This all works fine if they just postulate that Jesus was a Skrull.

No, wait, wrong universe. OK, Jesus was a Hexenbiest. A time-traveling Hexenbiest.
