I still love the fantasy elements of it but as I've mentioned before, all the love story arcs become a bit overbearing in short order for me. Lately the mix seems to be definitely skewed to the romantic story angles unfortunately.

Odd that the ratings have not been going down, at least not much. What does that say about the viewers that post in the forum?

I'm definitely not a "NFL Fan" and I enjoy this series.

As for the upcoming Red story, I expect the writers to really twist it for us.

This show is clearly designed to attract women viewers. I am bored with the soap opera themed episodes. The Queen is always right and other characters hardly develop at all!

Castle is a Disney show, and they don't have any problem showing dismembered bodies!

I've been fine with the rest of the episodes but this one I thought was a terrible Fairy of the Week jaunt. The dialog was atrocious.

Not even Amy Acker pulling double fairy tale duty or the neat Grumpy twist at the end could save this from being nauseatingly bad.

I think she's competing with Angelina Jolie. Amy Acker has a very pretty face but damn that's way too thin.

I certainly do. If I opt to watch a show, I watch it from start to finish, no FF. I treat it the way I do a book, start to finish. If a drama can't keep my attention for 42 minutes I don't bother watching it.

Wow, Red has been revealed as the wolf and there are no comments?

Just a wolf in Red's clothing.

Well played once upon a time well played. I truly did not see that twist coming and I usually catch on to these things pretty quickly it was nice to be surprised for a change. I thought for a while that granny was the wolf.

You can never judge a show by its pilot episode or the half season following it.

Given the scene with Red in the woods with Emma where she found David, I should have seen that coming. But it caught me by surprise as well. Well done.

And another love story ends happily ever after...

Really liked Red's back story. And I liked the fact that it wasn't all green screened....or if it was it didn't look cheap like some of the past episodes.

So Snow is getting busted for ripping the heart of out the missing lady....I'm fine with that at this point. Only wish Price Charming was arrested also.

Best episode in awhile. I totally did not see Red as the wolf, at all. I called the granny but not Red. Cool deal, she became my favorite character quickly. I wish she would of kept the job in the sherrif office though.

+1

I was hoping that we would start seeing more of her.
Something seemed off that she was able to find the Prince so fast. Thought maybe the wolf was rubbing off on her. Should have picked up on it then, but it shocked me to find out she was the wolf. I was expecting to see something that would lead to the wolf-on-a-chain that she carries around now. Thought about that when the guy said, no ropes, and pulled out a chain.

If you think back they did give hints. All the time she had a wolf symbol around her. I really thought the guy on the bike was the big bad wolf. Oh well

Agreed on Red being transformed back to human with full set of clothes.. Nothing like werewolves in other TV series and movies where they ALL were naked after transformation... I think they just could show her shoulders or something and cover her with the hood, but no.. they went "too safe" for TV..

The main plot about the missing girl, of course the witch did it.. she likes to collect hearts and certainly blaming Snow for her dissapearance.. also maybe that what happens to the people in the curse that try to leave Storybrook..

RIP Mom, we always love you 8/18/13

We are talking about a show with dwarves hatched from eggs, magical cloaks that can transform a person from werewolf to human, and the compalint is she appeared with clothes????? I think the cloak could put clothes on her seeng as what else happens in this world.

I don't think the issue is with it being possible or not. Just that we'd have liked to have seen a little more of Red.

Which means nothing in the real world. Halle Berry is "hot" ( and psycho). Her then husband cheated on her. I know you guys aren't really serious but for some reason most of you sound like deprived horn dogs!

It means plenty in MY real world. Halle Berry is not part of my life. My wife is home every day when I get there. And when I'm not at work, I'm at home with her.
Deprived is a little strong. Red is a good looking woman. But just saying that is a bit borring. So I call her hot. It's just for fun.

The real question is, did the heart come from the wife's chest...or from the Queen's secret chest of drawers where she seems to keep everyone's hearts?
