Fairy Godmother wasn't expecting him so he ambushed her. Blue Fairy had her magical defenses up.

Definitely one of the better episodes. Rumplestiltskin is always good. His son looked a lot like a young Elijah Wood.
Still can't stand prince charming, they make him such a doofus. I totally tune out when ever he's on screen.

I can't even believe I am still watching this show it is so bad on so many levels. I liked the original premise though. It was interesting.

Always surprising how many people continue to watch shows they just. don't. understand, or that they think are so bad on so many levels.

I am sorry I insulted your little show but you'll notice I didn't insult you. It still is a very weak show. Horrible acting. Low budget. But I liked the premise so I would like to find out what the hell happens. I think that's fair.

And yet rsambucathinks that Storybrooke is The Matrix when Fairyville actually has more similarities. For instance, the Blue Fairy truly believed that "there is no spoon" and the Fairy Godmother didn't. [just joshing rsambuca ]

Well- eventually they're going to run out of fairytale characters and their back-stories so they'll be forced to advance the storyline at some point...

They can always add a 9th, 10th, or 11th dwarf if they start running out of characters.

Funny that you mentioned the dwarves.. when they were 8 with stealthy they were still referred as 7 dwarves...little missprint on the writers part but we forgive them.. LOL

I wonder when they get back to "Belle" (Rumpel's love) story, she's there captive by the Queen.. perhaps on the season finale?

RIP Mom, we always love you 8/18/13

At first, I thought that too, but when I wound back to the scene, they were talking to Grumpy and referring to his "seven brothers" or something like that - meaning minus Grumpy.

I applaud your conviction. More power to you. It seems like such a basic thing but there are seemingly a whole bunch of people who are not intelligent enough to change the channel when they find they don't like what they are watching. Truly mystifying...

It was Very LOST-Like,
when RumpleStils has the guy cornered in the woods w/ the dug up knife, & Rump simply walked away, without finding out Anything , getting any questions answered, .. Who he really was, how he got there, ect ...

Is the preview's telling us that the "mystery guy" is really Pinocchio?

So it would seem.

You can never judge a show by its pilot episode or the half season following it.

It occurs to me... that Pinnochio could have been in the box with Emma... as a wooden toy he wouldn't take up much room... but then when they popped into the real world he may have become a real boy at that time.

Great episode tonight. The flips between the two worlds and the reveals via the back stories were excellent.

My guess was pretty close... I hadn't realized that the limit on the tree/box wasn't a limit on the number of trips.. I thought it was "one trip" and everybody had to be inside... not multiple-trips but protection for a limited number of people.

Yeah baby!  It's Halloween!

It looks like good is starting to win over evil. Well, not so much win, but at least not loose. Maybe this is the turning point and we may see a win or two soon.

Poor Regina .. rejected in her attempt to bed David / Prince .. she will apparently stoop to whatever level is necessary ..

We're building up to one big cliffhanger I think ..

Another great episode but IMO the writers drank a pitcher of stupid juice regarding Emma's actions with Henry at the very end. That didn't even make sense.

Love the Pinnochio storyline and thought the Regina/Charming dinner date was interesting. I'm slowly coming to the opinion that real world Regina is far more attractive than Emma. I'm a sucker for dark and mysterious types though. Blonde is a bit overrated.

We've learned the alternate identity of just about every major character except Henry and Emma. I'm sticking with my original guess that Emma's fairytale character is Goldilocks. It makes the most sense, especially if Emma and Snow get 3 rather hairy neighbors across the hall.

Too obvious:

Too controversial:

Just right:

Snow White is Goldilocks' mother?!

I don't think that Emma or Henry spent any time in fairytale Land.

You are correct... Neither Emma nor Henry are fairytale characters, although... technically Emma was born in fairytale land... she just didn't stay there long enough to establish herself as a character

Just to be clear, you guys are invoking a Clintonian-esque defense regarding Emma. (I.e. Technically, I didn't inhale) Emma was born in fairytale land as the daughter of Snow & Charming. She's gotta be a character. And her blonde hair seems to be growing by the episode. It's almost as if Jennifer Morrison is a blatant advertisement for Pantene! I can't believe we haven't had a shower scene with a strategically placed ad for shampoo.

Henry never stepped foot in fariytale world so mabey he's mortal although there's a 5% possibility Henry is actually Neo.
