Okay, I think it's time to give up on this series. It's jumped some sort of magical shark by now.

You might as well watch these last two episodes before the break.

As you can see from tonight's episode, they have indeed left Neverland and Pan is up to something, leading into a cliffhanger.

Yes I'm glad they are off the island, I was really going to bail if that didn't happen this week, too bad it sounds like Pan will now be in Storybrook, myself and family REALLY dislike PP and his boys, the moody one for sure who always wears a hoodie! Ee'll be sticking around for a bit more anyway to see how things progress.

I guess this is a "let's make it up as we go along" group on this show? I know disbelief is supposed to be used but how can Rumple and the Queen not know about Pan possibly switching? How could he even switch to begin with? Pan is Rumple's father after all? I'll admit it, I am now fast forwarding through some of the sappier scenes. They have turned Henry who was smart and knew a heck of a lot about magic into a naive easy influenced young boy. rolleyes.gif

I'm an extremely casual viewer of this show, yet when I do watch, it seems they're consistently goin' nowhere. Don't forget who writes the eps for this program; the same folks who "made up the last season as they went along" on that other show. Probably the reason I never got too into this in the first place..

"I knew you'd say that"...*BLAM!*

I finally got to watch this episode (yea confused.gif).

I actually thought it was not too bad.. untill that writers got lazy again at the very end. Really? Wow, THATS never been done b4.

And isn't that some form of incest, being that he's inside his great grandson? I'd be interested to know if these are the original writers. I thought season one was really good. This show is over.

So, if the curse is simply going to make everyone forget everything again, that seems pretty boring. (And if they don't get rid of Pan I may not come back after the winter break.) Couldn't the curse just move the town to someplace even worse than Maine, like New Jersey?

Well that was a good way to wrap this turgid story. The previews look promising, let's hope they do not screw it up as they did with Pan.

The main thing I disliked about the Peter Pan story was that it went on too long. Way too much time was spent in Neverland in these 11 episodes. I understand why the producers felt the need to make this a half-season arc (due to the split of episodes between fall and spring), but I think this story would have worked better in just 6 episodes, with much of the actual Neverland stuff removed or condensed.

What I disliked about Pan/Rumple is that they kept on throwing obstacles in the way to prevent BOTH of them from using magic. With Pan it was the magic wrist band thing. I would have liked just ONE confrontation where both of them fight using magic. Oh well.

So Rumple is truly dead? Gone forever? And why did he have to stab himself with the dagger? Why did he also have to die?

That's the same question I have, did the dagger stabbed both at the same time? I don't get it... the only explanation is "magic"

Since Rumple had the bracelet on I bet the dagger didn't do anything to him (even if it hurt him to begin with).

I binged-watched this first half of the season over the past week, so the 'pace' of the Neverland arc didn't bother me as much as some posters, not having to wait months to get from A to B ...
..
I also didn't quite get what revelation Rumple had, that gave him the idea he need to stab "his" dagger into Pan, while killing himself at the same time, to get rid of Pan .. What was the basis of that ...

** I did think that, since (if I remember correctly), stabbing the dark one with his dagger , kills the dark one & then transfers the power to the killer, then Rumple, being a man "without magic" (wristband), & stabbing himself, is a way the writers can "transfer back" the dark one right into a living Rumple ..

Some questions:
Where is Wendy, back w/ all the magicsters, or somewhere on "earth" with Emma?
Can the mermaids still go to "our world" & visit Emma, & if so, why couldn't Queen/Rumple make a spell to give Niel or others a temporary tail to get back/forth w/ the mermaids ..?
Was Pan's shadow also the "original" Neverland shadow, That first encountered Rumple's father, or is that shadow still on Neverland.?

I thought Wendy immediately left Storybrooke with her brothers. I assumed they went home to London, so they'd be on Earth. Of course, considering how thoroughly the writers have butchered most of the stories they've used, anything is possible.

As for your other questions, I suspect the writers didn't think of those loopholes. frown.gif

Curious, why does everyone say Rumple killed himself with Pan but stabbing himself. What evidence do we have that the dagger stabbed Rumple too? They bothed vanished in smoke but only Pan had the glowing effect as the dagger killed him.

Also, I still say if that was the case, then since he had the bracelet on it didn't affect him. Unless the actor wanted off the show, no way they are killling off Rumple. Look how lamely they brought back the Blue Fairy. Poof, all better, don't worry. Lame.

People think he stabbed himself because of the long "I'm killing myself, goodby to all" speech scene, as well as the dagger length...
As far as Rumple being off the show ... that's a seperate matter, & I'm sure he is still in the show, regardless of weather or not he actually stabbed himself or "thought" he was killing himself .. It's just a matter of how the writers bring him back / explain the situation ..

Let me see if I have this straight. Back in Storybrooke, they are looking for the new person that cast the latest curse, but they don't suspect the only new person in town. Not very bright are they? Or is it the writers who think we are not very bright.

Also, why did Rapunzel call for help when she specifically did not want to be rescued? Oh, right, see above.

Well, Mary Margret and David must be the least brightest of them all, since they are the one's hiring the WW.

And whats her name former evil queen can't produce a picture of her sister to show everyone?

Oh well. At least Pan hasn't risen from the dead. Be thankful for the little things.

My recollection (already fading) is that Regina didn't know she had a sister. She learned it during the past year in the Once realm, so she's forgotten it now, which is why she doesn't understand why her "blood" magic isn't working. A rationalization for them not suspecting the new person is that there actually are quite a few new people in StoryBrook. We (the TV audience) just don't know who they are. There were lots of people at the town meeting, after all, not just the characters most familiar to us.

A good example of this...

See the "sister" show... Once Upon a Time in Wonderland... where apparently the Knave had been staying in Storybrooke and the rabbit popped him back and forth a couple of times, including when the curse had not been broken! And nobody in town noticed any of that happening...

So not unreasonable, especially coupled with the lost year, to have people around town that weren't there before. For that matter, is my memory failing me or didn't Dr Whale/Frankenstein die? But now he is back... so I don't know but what the character the wicked witch is pretending to be might not have been someone they all knew anyway... for all we know that is.

Me do not have signature.

They may have list their memory of the past year, but they obviously know who they each are. In that situation, I would be suspicious of ALL other people. But then I guess their wouldn't be a story.

As for whether Dr Frankenstein died, I don't think anyone ever really dies on this show!

I've been pretty happy since the break with this series. The Wicked Witch is a great villain and Neil has been written off the show, for the most part. They need to get Emma into more costumes, she looked great in the princess outfit.
