So I guess the question is how long the writers can drag material out of a 100 minute movie without either getting into The Snow Queen or driving all the viewers crazy with boredom. Also, it was very considerate of that troll to not step on anything while rampaging. You know that fence and cars were going down in a movie.

Day one season pass holder here and I'm out! I was almost out towards the end of last season when the whole Peter Pan and Neverland thing keep dragging on and on and on and on.......you get it. Anyway it looks like more of the same BS, now promoting Frozen???? Too bad, at one time I looked forward to the next episode, not anymore

Haven't watched it yet but this episode had the highest rating of an episode in the last couple years.

Technically, it was the Sorcerer's hat. Mickey just "borrowed" it.

It's been a long time since P. Chem. and thermo, but I'm pretty sure the latent heat of fusion of making a massive ice wall would have one heck of an effect on the local environment. Everything else in the area should be noticeably warmer as the freezing dumps energy into the air. Also, there should be some pretty hefty winds involved.

I think if "normal" people approach Storybrook, they suddenly find themselves across town on the other side. Storybrook exists in some sort of warp time where stuff happening there has no effect on the "real" world. So ice will not create an issue, I'm sure weather sats could see it, and the weather certainly would be affected.

I didn't watch the movie so who's Elizabeth Mitchell's character supposed to be?

So why Rumple didn't want to melt the ice? he would also burn the people inside? I guess he also doesn't have full control of his magic?

I'm guessing she's supposed to be the Snow Queen and they'll tie in their take of the original tale with Frozen.

Magic is a lousy excuse to ignore the secondary effects of actually using the magic. Magic puts the giant ice wall up, but thermodynamics tells us what should happen as a result.

It's like the Earth's core stopping in The Core. Where does all the angular momentum go?

In this weeks episode, Emma looked a lot like she did in "Stir Of Echo's", minus the glasses.

Nah she could draw subzero temps from space like The Day After Tomorrow movie.. no need to heat something else to obtain ice or maybe like that SHIELD episode she converts matter into liquid nitrogen

The overly dramatic reactions to everything are becoming comical.

It's like this world is populated by the people from infomertials and WWE.

It's still a good series, it started a trend. I do miss Rebecca Mader, she was the best thing that happened that season. It's too bad they didn't get rid of Goodwin, the exact opposite of Rebecca.
Anything is better than reality & cop shows.

I have the same view. They are so so big. Wonder if she ever have any "wardrobe malfunction"

Did the two-hour special get postponed?

Dad1153's TV Notes shows a 3 hour live American Music Awards instead.

Hot Off The Press: The Latest TV News and Information

That'll let me catch up on Walking Dead, but still it's a disappointment. I was hoping to watch some snow globes.

Edited to add:
*sigh* wishful thinking. I forgot that the double episode was last week. Which I did see. Oh, well. I'll just have to enjoy watching Rick take down the corrupt police. It's just not the same
