CAR/NO

Usually any game from the Superdome look bad, but this game actually looks pretty good.

Interesting that the A-team is doing this game, but no 16:9 graphics.

Nice job by the crew doing the DET vs GB game working in the family photos of the crew. Classy move by Fox around the holidays.

CAR @ NO

PQ is ok. There's artifacts around the players when they move and a little swimming grass effect on the filed cams.

The FoxBox started the game in the 16:9 area, what happened? (in NO/CAR)

That was odd, WRAZ, the FoxBox was in 4:3 and then they wiped out to replay to go to commercial and it was back in 16:9. I don't understand.

Looks like the far sideline Chapman Camera Cart has broken down in Green Bay as it looks like it is being pushed up and down the sideline.

They must have had a problem with the primary transmission path which has 16x9 FoxBox and had to drop back to the backup transmission path which has the 4x3 FoxBox.

TD @ ATL

Swimming grass effect is bad with parts of the turf very soft.
Lighting is better then the bowl game on ESPN Saturday.

That's right Brian! Max is a cool name!

Very classy for your last game of the season. And a long yet exciting game at that.

FOX has TB 7 ATL 42 going to half time and SEA @ AZ neither team is making the playoffs.
Was there no other game FOX could put at 4pm when DAL @ NYG got flexed?

I believe it's the NFL that does the scheduling times. And if I was Fox I would be furious about the biggest game of the day being taken off the network and on a rivals. Fox pays all that money for the Dallas games and NY Giants games and then that happens.

How is this an injustice by the NFL? All parties have agreed to contracts that specifically lay out the way it can adjust. If FOX has a problem with NBC using a option agreed to then schedule a soccer game. I hear that's the most popular game in the world.

Not sure what you don't understand here. FOX has nothing to be furious about.

By the same token you bring up, NBC pays all that money for the Sunday night slot and flex scheduling.

This is all covered in their respective NFL contracts, which were just renewed. End of story.

I wonder if they could have taken a game from CBS and give it to FOX, similiar to a few weeks ago when DEN@MIN was switched to FOX.
CBS had 8 games today, so I'm sure they could have afforded to give up one of the late games to FOX.

FOX had 7, so the numbers don't make much sense.
