NBC is using a new Score Bug for the High School All star game on right now, wonder if we will see the changes carry over to the NFL.

Hello from Nahlins!

Yes, NBC is using the new graphics look for both Wild Card games today.

Score box, insert graphics, transitions... all new!

As in past years, I believe this game is being produced by the NBC Notre Dame team.

Ugh. What's up with that pointless tinted background? Just drop it and the rest is fine.

I like the return to the classic peacock graphic.

Viewing on TWC upstate NY.

I'm wondering if anyone else sees compression issues when NBC dissolves a shot into another or when the foreground object (usually a player) is in sharp focus while the background (lack of depth of field) is blurred. I don't see this on other networks.

Yes, and it's most likely due to the bandwidth used by the substations your local NBC affiliate has, in addition to the main HD channel.

The selectable camera is a nice with the streaming feed, quality is mediocre at best, lots of stuttering using Comcast 16/2 HSI.

Correct, the actual Satellite feed is excellent today.

Watching OTA via TMJ4 in Milwaukee. PQ is excellent. No noticeable artifacts. Probably the best daytime HD I have seen all year. Kudos NBC!

PQ wise, looks good overall....the graphics are cleaner and love the new fonts... no more honeycomb, yeah!

As for game action, more offense than I was expecting...not complaing...nice to see.

Note to the NFL: this is now the 12 year of the new millennium, meaning there are acts that have been around for more than a decade that started after 2000.

They dropped the metal fence pattern years ago...

NBC remains the only NFL broadcaster that doesn't have a virtual line of scrimmage. They really need to get with the program.

I agree the tinted background needs to go.

WNBC-DT FiOS NYC.

Other then the issues due to the lack of local bandwidth the game is great.

Not a fan of the animated stadium background used for the three box for the referee announcement of the replay challenge.

I agree. Get rid of the shading on the bottom under the score guide. Audio sounds a little lifeless, not much in the surrounds. I assume Wendel in in NOLA.
D* WNBC.

Perhaps I misremembered.

Agreed, get rid of the tinted background or at least limit it to right below the score box (instead of stretching across the entire 16:9 frame). At least it's better than a ticker though.

Also, the little timeout indicators for each team disappear sometimes. During the last challenge the timeout indicators were gone for so long I was wondering if they had ever been there.

Yes, it's here too, as it always is via WTHR, Indy from Bright House Networks (cable) and OTA. Although WTHR does run two subchannels, I've compared its PQ with three other area NBC stations OTA (WLWT, Cincinnati; WISE, Fort Wayne; WTWO, Terre Haute) and I couldn't tell any difference with the NBC "Blur Vision" even when watching WTWO which has no subchannels. Otherwise, the PQ is quite good.

Daanngg sucks to be that guy, dropped Pick 6 to being down by 2 TD......aaaannddd why not?? Why not go up to Baltimore and move on to the AFCC? Good running game, good defense, BAL has been up and down, TJ just has to manage the game.

Went on down to buy some $5 fabric, took down the DIY laminate screen since i will be getting a pull down later, how long have you been able to get a good projector for just $500??? This is sweet!
