NO is OK...

Just the new graphics look you are already seeing on the early game.

(No salsa music planned.)

Yes, saw the shading and was less than pleased.

Have a great game!

So, with these 2 QBs anyone think we'll see a total passing yards record for a playoff game? This game's got the makings of an airborne shootout.

I'm seeing better PQ and hearing MUCH better SQ compared to the first game. It seemed almost all audio was emanating from the center channel during the Texans/Bengals game.

Out of curiosity, did ESPN have to pack up its equipment for NBC to come in? Do they normally do that? I had assumed they would normally leave it standing until the BCS Championship.

Here is a good article from the Sports Video Group on ESPN's production setup for the BCS game.

Ever notice on any networks NFL broadcast how many times the Skycam gets in the way of the other field camera shots?

It will never happen but the NFL should limit how low the camera can get to the field.

Actually I want to say the camera cannot go lower than 12 feet during the game. Someone might have to check but I think that is the rule.

Maybe I'm missing something, but why was the play called dead on the Brees fumble?

Al just answered it.

Game looks good, for a 'Dome game, and sounds good, as is par for this team.

Watching OTA, flipping between WREX-DT in Rockford and WMAQ-DT Chicago (both with one subchannel, but WMAQ with newer encoders). Both look sharp, but cameras look a bit dark, as if it looks cloudy. Could be the HDTV I am watching at a friend's house, and the settings he has. But commercials look fine, as do commercials with other football game plays in them.

WMTV-Madison OTA

Looks sharp, nice new graphics, and my stereo downmix sounds great!

Watching on KSNV Las Vegas via unknown source (hotel), but it's probably Cox since they do most of the hotels around these parts. Lots of blocking on motion, consistent with every other game I've seen on KSNV/KVBC in past visits. NBC needs to further tweak the scorebar to match the one they use for hockey, i.e. without shading.

KSNV runs 2 subchannels, them as well as KLAS(CBS) which runs a high bitrate subchannel, really suffer PQ wise during sports telecast.

The Internet had a field day with it. No one with the League said anything, as far as I know.

Excellent, good to know. Your broadcasts have more personality than the other networks, and a big part of that is the choice of music.

Game looks and sounds good tonight via Directv. The usual high quality.

With the new graphics package,
the only thing I don't like besides the dark tint at the bottom is live video and replay in boxes with the stadium background before the replay goes full and the video flip to the next replay.

Two games played at the Super Dome since the last MNF game two weeks ago and the PQ on both was far superior to the MNF game there.
