Here is a link to a terrific Andy Greenwald piece about Veep. The first half of it is about House of Cards, which I didn't read because I don't watch the show. But scroll down in the piece until you see our little Selena's picture and start reading. Greenwald likes the show as much as many of us do. Enjoy!

Hard to sustain this show when it's not a national election year but still looking forward to the premier.

I watched the premiere last night and thought it was hilarious. They're maintaining the same level of writing quality. I enjoyed the Veep's new Iowa handler, but wonder how they can keep him with all the existing characters. I hope that other character (avoiding spoilers) is not gone for good.

I wish we had gotten more than two brief glimpses of Sue at the wedding. She looked very nice in that dress and with her hair down.

"When it melts, does it look like Texas?"

Dan and Jonah had all the best moments this episode. Thankfully Jonah doesn't appear to be gone for good and I wouldn't be surprised if he gets hired for the campaign trail.

When they started hitting the campaign trail and Jonah was being bounced around I thought the show lost a lot of it's spark. They just didn't have enough comedy friction.

However I thought the final two episodes were very funny. Precisely because it put them back DC where they could run over each other. Not to mention the show works best when a crisis is happening.

Last night's premier was great! Though, kinda weird to see her switch positions. The new VP's staff is great. Patton Oswalt!

Can't wait to see where this is going

Didn't find this episode as funny as the best of yesteryear, but certainly good enough. Everyone is out to kill the king, or queen. The one thing is, it will be harder for her bumbling minions to keep her out of trouble. Seems like she needs someone really crafty and capable in their midst.

I love this raunchy show to death! Julia Louis-Dreyfus is great and the show's large ensemble cast is wonderful. Just about everybody had a chance to be funny in this week's episode.

Panic is still the best ingredient for comedy on Veep and the back room speech implosion reaction was terrific.

Yup, that was pretty much the formula for Iannucci's 'The Thick of It' as well, creating fires and then trying to put them out!

I've noticed the cursing has gone down this season. Was there even 5 curse words in last night's episode?

Richard is a hoot! Love how positive he is, when everybody else around him is in a bad mood. He just smiles and chit chats away.

Good episode last night. Serial testicle toucher

Loved Mike's color treated mustache and all the jokes surrounding it.

Lots of excellent dialog in the latest episode. The line I found funniest was one of the simpler ones, which occurred when Ben was walking around in an undershirt: "I need a shirt. This isn't Die Hard."

I've always had respect for people like Richard. I wish I could be half as calm in the most stressful situations.

I agree that this week's episode was terrific. I loved how Gary stood up to Selina when she berated him and he proceeded to tell her, convincingly, that she can't do without him. That was great television, funny, but kind of sweet, kind of sad, too.
