It looks like neither terraforming nor a bomb can completely bring down the St. Louis arch. :sigh:

I loved Nolan's response as a child when he saw the aliens come in and said they're friendly because Jon Stewart said so.

In space, no one can hear you scream . . .

LOL, I don't recall that line (it's a good one though).

It was in the scene where Nolan was looking out the window and the alien ship was breaking thru the clouds.

I watch about 99% of everything nowadays with closed captions on. I miss so much of the audio, even the descriptive like door closes softly, certain song is playing, etc.... help me understand some things that are going on ... I don't think my hearing is that bad, there are just so many subtle things thrown in ...

I do exactly the same thing (watch everything with closed captioning/subtitles) and catch so many things I would've missed with my rears blasting ambient music and effects in my ears -- particularly in low-budget TV shows. I would especially miss muffled dialogue in another room or behind a closed door.

One weird thing I've noticed, on my cable company DVR, I've changed the font size, color, and background of the closed captioning, so it is less obtrusive. But whenever I watch a show on Syfy or now on USA with Mr. Robot, the captioning is back to the big black box with the white lettering. It's really annoying to the point I sometimes turn it off if I'm hearing everything okay. I've just gotten so used to a smaller font with no black box.
