ESPN Coverage
After the opening day, ESPN2’s schedule will continue with an all-live telecast starting at 5 a.m. each day through Friday, June 1 and again on Monday, June 4. The network will air live quarterfinal action Tuesday, June 5, at 1 p.m. and Wednesday, June 6 at 8 a.m. ESPN2 will air the women’s semifinals live Thursday, June 7 at 8 a.m. All the action on ESPN2 is also available through WatchESPN online at WatchESPN.com and on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app.

Chris Fowler and Chris McKendry will again share host duties on ESPN2, with Fowler also calling matches. They will be joined by Evert, along with returnees Darren Cahill, Mary Joe Fernandez, Brad Gilbert, Patrick McEnroe and Pam Shriver. Cliff Drysdale will rejoin the team next month for ESPN’s first-ever exclusive start-to-finish coverage of Wimbledon.

For the sixth consecutive year, ESPN2 is working with Tennis Channel to bring viewers an almost around-the-clock tournament experience, with each channel cross-promoting the other’s schedule. Tennis Channel will produce all coverage for both channels, with each making use of its own on-air team.

NBC,
NEW YORK – May 23, 2012 – NBC’s 20 hours of 2012 French Open coverage begins this Sunday, 12 noon ET, with live opening-round coverage, and culminates with the Women’s Final on June 9 and the Men’s Final on June 10. In all, NBC will broadcast 20 hours from Roland Garros, including coverage on the first Sunday of play for the first time.

ESPN3.com is broadcsting all matches except during NBC's TV coverage when matches will be on NBCSPorts.com

Not sure if this is a first, NBC's coverage except for Friday, June 8th is live in all time zones.
Sunday, May 27 Noon - 3 p.m. ET First Round (Live)
Saturday, June 2 Noon - 3 p.m. ET Third Round (Live)
Sunday, June 3 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. ET Fourth Round (Live)
Friday, June 8 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. (all time zones) Men's Semifinals (Live ET)
Saturday, June 9 9 a.m. - Noon ET Women's Final (live)
Sunday, June 10 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. ET Men's Final (Live)

NBC Tennis coverage is using the new NBC Sports graphics package.
At times a scroll appears at the bottom updating the scores but it's not formatted correctly and the bottom is cut off.

The NBC bug was normal for the first match but now it's solid and looks bad,

I hope this is an error and they go back to the semi transparent bug.

ESPN2 coverage this morning looked good in terms of PQ. No Bottom Line - that is always a plus for ESPN coverage.

I flipped on Tennis Channel right before NBC went on the air, and Tennis Channel was covering the Roddick/Mahut match, and they had their ticker going continuously and the PQ looked horrible. Very soft compared to NBC.

Tennis Channel and WNBC-DT FiOS.

Very interesting that Tennis Channel and NBC are live covering the same match.
Is it only for the early rounds that Tennis Channel is live when NBC is?
During the NBC coverage Tennis Channel is using international English video feed.

Comparing the two caps, Tennis Channel is a little sharper and edge enhanced.

Who is your provider? Your captures of Tennis Channel look great! I have Dish Network and was comparing Dish's Tennis Channel to my OTA broadcast on NBC, and the NBC was clearly better.

Any idea why ESPN2's coverage begins in the afternoon today in the US instead of very early morning? I assume this means they are airing a tape-delayed showing? Tomorrow it's back at the normal early morning time.

It's live on Tennis Channel right now I believe, however I don't have that channel anymore (UVerse charges extra for it).

Any idea what happens with tomorrows semifinal. the coverage that I found seems to say tennis channel for 1st match, nbc for 2nd, with espn2 out in the cold. I do not have tennis channel. Am I out of luck for match 1? Does anyone know if it will be on the tennis channel website. They did have some of them online last week. I have mostly been watching on espn3 since I wasn't able to watch live and have no dvr.

Due to a pre-emption from press conference by the President NBC's tennis coverage came on at 11:03am ET and they missed the first game of Djokovic vs Federer.
Since the match is only live for the east coast I'm guessing the other time zones will get the match from the start.

It was announced at 2pm ET that play was suspended for the day due to weather.
The match resumes Monday at 7am ET with coverage on NBC Sports Network.
