So is she in the second G.I. Joe movie? Or did they kill her character off?

Not killed off, but not in the movie either, replaced with Adrianne Palicki, "Lady Jaye"

You know, I used to think it was awful that life was so unfair. Then I thought, wouldn't it be much worse if life were fair, and all the terrible things that happen to us come because we actually deserve them? So now I take great comfort in the general hostility and unfairness of the universe.

I remember now, thanks for jarring my memory, it looked familiar, but just couldn't place where I'd seen her.

So only about 6 or 7 weeks behind the Canadian airings, that's certainlty better than 13 weeks.

It will probably have a bit of viewer loss due to being behind Canada but maybe not as bad as it would be if it aired even further out as we originally thought. Hopefully it won't damage the ratings too badly. Sci-fi geek type shows like this are some of the most highly downloaded shows from pirate sites, in a sense, the two cultures fit hand in hand.

Haven, which is the best show on Syfy in my opinion, seems to do okay on Fridays, it's entering it's 4th season this Sept.

I don't like waiting... but then, most of the rest of the world has had to wait for much of the history of TV for US-produced series to air in their country. To some extent, turnabout is fair play.

I am mostly glad, though, to see other countries not only having good quality programs and spending money on production values BUT also that the US is respecting that effort. It's nice to have options, and the US and Hollywood doesn't have the market cornered on quality and talent... so I'm happy to see something like this where Canada can claim it as theirs and make us wait for it a little bit.

Yeah baby!  It's Halloween!

That's usually considered the "death slot", was all I was saying. But if it was doing fine on Mondays, why move it, why risk it?

Syfy aired Merlin on Fridays at 10pm and it did well. Also, by now airing at 10pm, does this mean Syfy won't censor language on S2?

The Blu-ray set was well under way before SyFy got involved- it going to be the original episodes as shown on Canadian TV.

Unless a US thread is established Yanks will have to be careful following this thread once season two commences in Canada.

Unless season 2 steps things up significantly, I don't think it's even worth buying the series on DVD or Blu-ray, uncensored or otherwise. Season 1 wasn't worth watching a second time, unless it serves as a lead-in to the rest of a series that is more interesting and less formulaic. The box sets are overpriced for the level of entertainment Continuum season 1 had to offer, IMO.

Season 2 probably has flash forwards to 2077 where her son says, "Daddy! Mommy's using those bad words again!'

It's not for sale on amazon.ca . So far only the US SyFy set is for sale. That is what has me concerned.

The same situation is perhaps a cause for concern regarding Lost Girl, as well. The Blu-ray releases of that series are only available through Funimation, which doesn't have the best record when it comes to censorship.
