Overall, the video was excellent IMO.
The "in car video" was often in widescreen.
And the super slow-mo was just awesome stuff.
Congrats to the French film crews.smile.gif

The visuals in the early morning hours were just so great - you could feel the early morning sun and air, and the nice landscape, and then here comes a damn Audi, just hauling balls, and I was in heaven.

Eve: I thought I was through getting involved with men who were trouble. Falling in love on a look. I can't look at you.

Mickey: You have perfection about you. Your eyes have music. Your heart's the best part of your body. And when you move, every man, woman and child is forced to watch.

Agreed.

Le Man is a Bucket List item for me.

You can take the high-speed rail from Paris and be there in an hour.
If only the Austin race had such a thing...wink.gif

If I was 30 years younger I'd probably be crazy enough to do it. I never appreciated the "local" aspect of the race until watching the full coverage the last few years. I can just see myself going 'till 3AM or so, napping a bit, then waking with the sun and doing it all over again. Ahh to be young again smile.gif

Sorry to hijack the thread for a memory, but that would be like back in the old days of my youth. In 1969, Paul Newman made his famous movie "Winning" about the Indianapolis 500. My new bride and I went to the midnight showing of the film at the Georgetown Theater, got in line for the 500 about 2:00am and were inside the track shortly after the gates opened at 5:00am to see Mario Andretti win his only 500.

IMO, Andretti is the greatest AMERICAN driver of all time.
The guy could win in anything.

I love the old story of Gurney and Foyt at Le Mans - they say Gurney had to hold back because Foyt was so competitive he would have torn up the car trying to match Gurney's time.

Mickey: You have perfection about you. Your eyes have music. Your heart's the best part of your body. And when you move, every man, woman and child is forced to watch.
