Big fan here. I like its quirkiness although I'm not that happy with the addition of Scott Wolf as Kate's ex. Drags down the rhythm, plus I disliked his smarmy character on "V".

I haven't really liked him in anything I have seen him in. I don't know why.

Neither have I and I really don't know what it is that causes that dislike either.

I think the problem is he's developed into a one note actor. Is range is from smarm to smarm. The is no need for his character.

Yeah, that could be it. I never saw Party of Five, but He was downright EVIL on NCIS, As you said, smarmy on V and a dislikable guy on Everwood. He just doesn't seem like a good actor with a lot of range.

He was evil on NCIS but "somewhat" redeemed himself by trying to disarm the bomb.

For some strange reason TNT is not airing three of the episodes:
Code:

12 2-02 202 02/Jul/13 Alienation
13 2-03 205 09/Jul/13 Blindness
14 2-04 206 16/Jul/13 Toxic
15 2-05 204 23/Jul/13 Caleidoscope
16 2-06 207 30/Jul/13 Defective
17 2-07 208 06/Aug/13 Neuropositive
18 2-08 209 13/Aug/13 Asylum
19 2-09 212 20/Aug/13 Wounded
20 2-10 213 27/Sug/13 Warriors

                               Brotherhood
                               Curveball
                               Obsession

Unaired production numbers are 203, 210 and 211.

That doesn't suggest that they won't be shown, just that they are not currently scheduled, right? They will eventually be shown, unless the ratings have tanked badly. Anyone know how it's been doing ratings-wise? I have been less interested in the show since the addition of Scott Wolf. I don't know why, but that actor just turns me off completely. confused.gif

I more or less simply stopped caring about the show.

It's not bad, just not memorable for me. If I hadn't spotted the thread just now, I'd have compeltely forgotten about it. It just feels like retread of "Raines" with Jeff Goldblum.

I guess I've found so many better shows that really engage me that I gradually drift away from the ones that don't.

I hear you. I am also leaning toward cutting it off. The wife likes it more then I do, so for the moment it stays. I suppose after this run, if I delete the SP, she won't miss it not coming back.

Hard to say what they are going to do. I enjoy the series and do want to see the "missing" episodes.

Since the next episode appears to be a cliffhanger, I suspect the remaining episodes will be shown at a later date. You know that these shows have been having abbreviated split seasons. The episodes undoubtedly will be eventually shown, but I don't know when.

The end of the two-parter is not a cliffhanger.

No cliff hanger. I'm sure the "missing" episodes will show up in the winter.

Okay, I was just guessing on the cliffhanger part, but they did say that the this was the SUMMER finale, and Perception would be back in the winter sometime. The previews made it APPEAR to be a cliffhanger ending with her being in trouble over the shooting, but they resolved it, so no cliffhanger. I didn't know, so it was a supposition and not a spoiler--and I was wrong! smile.gif

They did say that it would be back this winter. Liked the bit with him seemingly getting back together with his old college sweetheart and only getting busy after the imaginary one left the room. wink.gif

I don't get TNT, so I didn't see that. That would mean that TNT is pulling the same crap that ABC did with the first season of Body of Proof, holding over a bunch of episodes from the 1st season and airing them in the 2nd season, out-of-sequence.

TNT is a cable "network," and cable channels are notorious for having abbreviated split seasons. This is nothing new, more like something expected.

Yes, split seasons abound. All but this one, have aired the produced episodes. This is the first one where they've run them out-of-sequence and dropped three of them.

You really can jump in at any point. There is a bit of back story but not enough to prevent anyone from enjoying the show. The simple premise is he has a mental disorder that causes him to hallucinate and these hallucinations from his subconscious help in solving mysteries. Being the absent minded professor type he has a grad student that manages the details of his life.

Just watched the episode and as it turned out I didn't miss the first season, I just forgot the title. Guess it didn't make too much of an impression.

I thought the episode was one of their best yet. A lot of plot points.

The network is putting an end to the crime drama, which starred Eric McCormack as Dr. Daniel Pierce, a schizophrenic neuropsychiatrist who assists the FBI on some of their most complex cases. Perception will return for its final five episodes on Feb. 17.
