Is this a rerun? I'm not seeing it at Discovery and haven't heard it mentioned anywhere.

I don't think it is.
My EPG indicates "New. Season Premier"

Sometimes the websites are not updated or have false information. Then again, so does the EPG at times tongue.gif

New episode tonight titled "Planets from Hell". Can't wait to watch it! biggrin.gif

I'm liking this show more than the current season of Through the Wormhole.

This program airs on my cable system on the "Science" channel in HD.
I like they have Prof Michio Kaku on many of the episodes. I enjoyed his show "SciFi Science" that used to air also on the Science channel.

Yea Mediacom recently added the Science Channel and this show was on the first night. Really great show. The next day I turned on the channel and it was blacked out. I realized it was on another tier that I don't get. frown.gif I remember when shows like this used to be on Discovery but now it's full of crap reality shows.

Science Channel is supposed to be on another tier via Charter in my area but I've always have gotten the HD version of it in. Only when I try to get in the SD version or use OnDemand do I get a "you must subscribe" message. My house isn't the only one that this happens.

Not sure if it's still the case but the Speed channel was the same way. The guide says it's in another tier and the SD version is blocked out but I get the HD. Works for me.

How The Universe Works on Science HD

I think there's an all-new episode tonight. The show has changed channels, and is now on the Science Channel.
I wonder if it's really new, or just footage and compilations from the past 2 seasons.

Here's their website, with tonight's episode description.

Episode 1: The universe is constantly expanding and so is our understanding of it. In this brand new episode, up to date information is given on asteroids. More than just deadly rocks from space, they hold valuable resources and could serve as future stepping stones

Last night's episode titled "End of the Universe" was great. This is one of my favorite space shows

Wait, is there a new season going on right now?

According to both IMDB and Wikipedia there is a fourth season going on!
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1832668/...f_=tt_eps_sn_4
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/How_th...Works#Season_4

Season four premiered on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 with the episode titled "How the Universe Built Your Car"

Is this show on both Discovery and Science channel?

^^^Thought I'd seen a "Universe' thread here at one time. Ran a forum search and google before starting my "beyond the solar system" thread, but nothing popped up--wrong search terms perhaps. Let's get a IBM AI Watson super computer in to analyze this stuff. -- John
