But they didn't give them the engines

I recall a comedic line from yesteryear that our German rocket scientists were better than their German rocket scientists.

Maybe not as much of a joke as it was meant to be.

The "smart ones" saw the handwriting on the wall and got out of Nazi Germany before it fell...

Why does history keep repeating itself don't these dictators know that the people have all the power? Russia will fall and democracy is resilient, the people need to constantly fight for it.

These are just my opinions.

I don't see that happening anytime soon, until Putin is gone from this planet. Not only does he keep changing Russian laws to allow him to get "re-elected", he quickly and quietly has his FSB (former KGB) stifle (by death) any opposition. Russian bribery to get anything done in the country is at an all-time high. And there is no word of dissent found in media nor online that trickles through

our country may have it's own flaws yet that is the country that a certain US-born traitor hides in

all that while a certain Scandanavian is holed up in an Embassy pushing out confidential US secrets, yet his site documents nothing coming out of Moscow

That all depends on your point of view and how the story has been framed. In some circles, he's a hero.

No question, that guy is pure pond scum. And I suspect it's self-preservation that keeps him quiet about the Ruskies, referring to your first paragraph.

Bombshell from Stan; threatening a DOJ attorney appears a career limiting move. Paige digging for dirt on Pastor Tim; Gabriel almost dismissive of the Jennings' concerns. The Phillip's from Pittsburgh slip could be the break hapless Stan needs. Great scene smuggling Phillip's son across border. Quite an episode; can't wait for next week.

Stan may not be the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to ferreting out spies, but he certainly has integrity.
