Argh, Paul Di Resta just can't seem to catch a break lately. confused.gif

Also, cool gesture from Alonso, giving Webber a lift.

Yeah, that was due to this being his third reprimand of the season. Luckily i dont believe Fernando will get any actual penalty. This is a shame, it was a neat thing to do, and it was a neat thing to watch.

I see where the New Jersey people made the time limit and paid money and did whatever paperwork they needed to for the race in 2014. To me, i dont thinkg its still definite, but boy i would love to see this race happen, and now i am getting my hopes up.

A great race by Kimi....no doubt about it.
Next year RB better be able to pull a rabbit out of their hat.
I give Ferrari good odds to win the Constructer's Championship.

If the wife had decided to go with me to the F1 race in Austin, I was going to fly down to this race to get a "lay of the land" on the course and setup.

FWIW Webbers penalty was not for riding with Alonso. It was for crossing the track and flagging Alonso down. It is 10 grid spots because its his third reprimand this season.
Alonso also got a reprimand.

Emmo tweeted that Kimi might be out for Korea and the rest of the season. The Italian press (omnicorse.it) is speculating he'll get surgery at the end of the season.

Despite the pain in the back would give him a respite during the GP of Singapore, allowing him to get on the lowest rung of the podium without any problems, after the race began to circulate with a certain insistence the rumor that Kimi Raikkonen will undergo surgery surgery at the end of the season.

The Finnish pulls behind this problem for several years and in particular it is a nerve that tends to ignite when it is urged too. The cause of the discomfort suffered on the Marina Bay Street would be a step too aggressively over a curb in the first free practice on Friday.

To enable him to take the path of Gp his physio has undergone a cure cortisone treatments being helped by a colleague of Red Bull. However, the "Iceman" now seems willing to sort it out once and for all before making his return to Ferrari and then in the coming winter should go under the knife for an operation that still should not be too invasive, guaranteeing times recovery rather short.

Interesting.

I hope it is one of those very directed and limited mini-surgeries.
If it isn't that, I wouldn't recommend back surgery.
Back surgery is notoriously unsuccessful.

I have had a lower back fusion....it did not work.
There is no way to "undo" what has been done.
And the "recovery" was hell on earth.

A year afterward, I flew out to the Mayo Clinic to see if anything further could be done.
After looking me over, they asked "Why did you get surgery?"
After I picked my jaw up off the floor, I said "Because the doctors in Oregon told me to?"eek.gif
They replied, "If you had come to us first, we would not have recommended surgery. We don't do fusions because they rarely do any good."
Confused, I asked "Why does the AMA approve of this procedure?"
The guy smiled and let me figure it out.mad.gif

True. But Kimis surgeon > your surgeon x100. Straight cash homey = great surgeon.
