Amen, brother.
I have driven 2 of those 4 and can attest to that.

I helped a friend of mine detail a blue Super Sport for a local show (Bugatti's press car) and the car is beyond words. It actually had a few thousand miles on it because the rep from Bugatti takes it all over the country to shows and Bugatti car club meets. He was telling us that when he was in New York, the cab drivers were actually pulling over and letting him go by. He showed us pics of the factory and facilities. Definitely cool. I'll look for the pics tonight and post a couple up for you guys.
Awesome story.smile.gif

I think it's unfortunate Pirelli gets so much heat (pun intended) over the tires...especially since F1 asked them to make tires to behave in that manner to begin with.

+1
The 458 aesthetics definitely puts more hardened steel in my pushrod.

There is also a Ferrari dealer right by my house. I have to suffer and see all those beauties when I drive by it, and see all of the walking dead grandpas pulling out in their new Ferraris never going over 2k rpm. mad.gif

Life is so unfair! biggrin.gif
Man, that would make me crazy (enough to break down and buy a black 458?).eek.gif

It's an interesting theory, but I'm not buying it.
1) This would have occurred to other teams long ago.
2) Webber doesn't "appear to be using it."
3) And RB wouldn't let #2 happen.

Welcome back Oink, I trust that in your absence you found some nice mud to wallow in or perhaps were rooting for some particularly delicious truffles.

Hamilton and Rosberg on top of P1 again. I have to wonder if Vettel is sandbagging at this point. I hope not and that we get a good race for the lead this weekend.

I wonder what button Horner will use on Webber Sunday. He's already used the "last lap engine failure" and "last lap engine fire" buttons.

Boy, that is a hell of a track. I'd love to drive there. That flat left hander is intense in a car as fast as an F1 car.

If Alonso doesn't finish eighth or higher, (and Vettel wins) I guess Seb wraps it up.

I think Fred will be heading back to Montezumolos's woodshed again soon.

http://en.espnf1.com/japan/motorsport/story/129671.html

Asked whether he found Ferrari's lack of qualifying pace frustrating, Alonso said: "I'm not frustrated anymore. It's been four years that we've been one second behind Red Bull. We were seventh in Korea, we didn't have the pace, we arrived here five days later and we didn't expect any miracles.

Makes me wonder if we will actually ever get to see an Alonso/Raikonnen pairing.

That's what I thought at Indy on practice and qualy days, then come race day, after about ten laps, I gave in and put in the buds. As amazing as they sound, I would like to have some hearing later in life!

Which phones did you get Bond? Do you like them?

I listen to the races in 7.1 sound at home (Audyssey DSX) and enjoy it, but it's nothing like the real thing.

I don't know where he would go for a faster car.
There has been talk about re-teaming with McLaren again, but I just can't see that as realistic.
His testimony helped earn the team a $100m fine.

It sounds like he's trying to get himself fired.

This from the other day didn't help either.

"If someone joins F1 today or yesterday and you tell them that the red car with the blue helmet is fighting for the world championship and still second, they would say 'it's not true, it's a miracle,'" said Alonso.

"The three consecutive second positions were over-performing," said Alonso. "We had the car to be third, fourth or fifth."

Here is my advise to my twin brother Fernando : Close mouth. Place right foot on go pedal. Release foot when checkered flag waves. Maintain closed mouth procedure. Repeat as necessary.

I think Alonso is really frustrated and I cant blame him. So am I. But he does need to be a professional and watch what he says.
The guy won 2 World Championships and then goes to Ferrari thinking hes on top of the world and he hasnt been able to do crap since. Alonso has massive potential and is running out of career rather quickly. Make no mistake that these guys are risking their lives every race. And it makes it even worse when you have to drive a car at 11/10s every race just to get on the podium. Hes probably getting tired of killing himself for what he sees as nothing. Thats where the "for 4 years we've been a second behind RB" stuff is coming from.
Im not making excuses for him but I do understand and share his frustration. If it bothers me I can hardly imagine how he feels.
What he seems to fail to see is that this is the undisputed era of RB and Vettel. These things happen.

Ive got a pretty nice surround system too but I like the new cans for certain situations. Mostly for jamming 2 channel music.
