I want to drink too! tongue.gif

Gonna try to hold off drinking until February 15th. Due to my healthier and active lifestyle, I should give my body a rest. I partied hard during the Christmas holidays. Can't let the beer belly come back, I love my "6 pack" abs. ha

Enjoy yourself biggrin.gif

My six pack abs became a keg so long ago I don't concern myself with it any longer... biggrin.gif

LOL! Damn! eek.gif

I'm going to hit 30 this year (younngin' around these parts?) so I just need to keep it up. I've always heard, the older you get, the harder it is to lose weight, etc.

I'm a beer connoisseur, been drinking expensive and exotic beer for a long time. Wish I could show you my pregnant beer belly picture vs. my 50 lb. weight loss,6 pack ab picture. Just doesn't fit into this thread.

See ya later biggrin.gif

We must have hit our midlife crisis early. I'm about the same age and recently became an exercise freak.

In just ten years, maybe we'll have to get a toupée and a fast sports car. biggrin.gif

During the listings of people nominated for two of the awards they did a fake nomination at the end.
The first one had Mary Lynn Rajskub wearing fake bad teeth and the second one had Tina Fey dressed up like a guy.
I'm not finding it to be very funny.

Only noticed one censoring of the audio.

When Salma Hayek and Paul Rudd were supposed to do their second presentation, the intro for Best TV Series Drama, the teleprompter was not working so there was some awkward moments before the producers went to the taped nominated series video.

Jodie Foster got a long censor during her speech.

Yeah, I noticed that. I also did not find it very funny. To each their own though, maybe other people thought it was a hoot.

I saw and heard Homeland received a lot of awards. People on this other forum I'm on are complaining. Saying how season two wasn't that great, there were other shows this year that did a lot better.

I thought Fey and Poehler did a good job. The fake nominees bit I thought was funny but not fall out of the chair hilarious. That gimmick aside, they clearly work well together and are genuinely funny. Wiig and Ferrell I thought were very funny. Fosters speech was very good and I for one am happy for this milestone for her. Perhaps because she started so young its easy to forget how many good performances she's had. Overall, it was nice but not very memorable in terms of winners and speeches. I'm a big awards season fan, was actually going to throw an Oscar's party this year just to do something different. But I'm not sure there is that much to get real excited about. Not to say there aren't good movies and performances but it's all kind of low key this year IMO. Tarantino was even kind of reserved. J Lo's dress was quite memorable...eek.gif

I'll admit I didn't watch the whole program, but what was the deal with the audio? The parts I did see it sounded like they were standing near an air conditioning unit.

The audio was terrible, and there were tons of other glitches, such as the teleprompter, as well. At the end of the Red Carpet show, the control room audio was audible as they were counting down. This is the worst awards show I've ever seen, production wise.

I think the countdown is almost always audible.

very good show.

tina and amy nailed it. loved their cameron and franco jokes.

thought the show was moving along well until foster's weird speech. i guess some
of you got what she was trying to say but i lost her when she started rambling about
coming out.

some of the award choices were baffling. i don't think girls is the best thing on tv
but the foreign writers sure do.

like this show better than when gervais hosted the last 2 years
