That and the sanctity of the confessional. What is said here, stays here, and all that..... Of course Romero is marching to his own drum, so who knows. But then again, a wired confessional is nothing but speculation because nothing was said there anyway.....

There's also Botox treatment for migraines which might have been an interesting scene. They are expensive and it takes jumping through some hoops to get insurance to pay which wouldn't be an issue for her. The treatment is about 20+ shots around the scalp every six months on a continual basis.

I'm sure she could have her neurologist visit her in her office and administer the shots while Ray waits to discuss business and looks squinty eyed at the injections. The irony of needing Botox in Hollywood for a medical reason with no noticable aesthetic side effects/benefits.

I still do not trust her, I cant see her being a full time cast member, so she will end up dead I think. I also think the teacher is going to get killed also. The Varick, Finney thing really through me for a loop.

I really, really, really want to see Mickey get what is coming to him. Alas, it keeps not happening so I assume he will once again sleaze his slippery self out of trouble, leaving God knows what collateral damage this time.

I don't trust the girlfriend. She seemed to just be starting a little desktop papers snooping session when the other men arrived in the office.

Sort of clever to go all Walter-White-Digging-in-the-Desert there, with multiple feints to the viewer with who to expect in the grave...Romero, snake-bit Fish & Game lady, both, Varick, all three, etc.

Great to see Avi back on board and mostly reconciled with Ray over the reporter's death.

The dessert digging was throwing me off. Was thinking it was the snake-bit lady but I was wrong.

Bridget's going to get that guy in trouble! From either the school or even worse, Ray. Bridge is just lonely.

I felt like the scene with Mickey and the old man playing cards by the pool was telling .. telling what, I still don't quite know .. Mickey retiring .. ?? Mickey starting to feel his age .. ?? Mickey going back to being a snitch .. ??

I agree that the scene in the hangar with the bureaucrat who first lost her nerve and then got snake-bit was a hoot.

I loved the way the desert locale, where Ray and Ari were digging a grave, was interspersed with flashbacks. Every flashback made us think we knew who was being buried but we never learned the truth until we saw Finney brain his son in law with a poker. I also enjoyed how Ray didn't want to hear Ari confess his long concealed guilty secret. Great stuff!

I am not sure when did you guys figured out who was being buried. I did as soon as Varrick came to see Finny, I knew right then.

Also glad to have Avi back. The old gang is now together...

Another great episode!

Poor Ken Cosgrove. Apparently his eye miraculously works properly again, but he still has a nasty scar.

I wish they'd drop that storyline altogether, it's the least interesting and we all know how it's going to end up. Use the screen time for something else, like more Finney and more Mickey, would love to see a scene with those two together.

Excellent and intense episode. Avi back and reconciling with Ray, the whole desert scene was brilliantly done with the flashbacks, Ray having an opportunity to still get what he wants, man just excellent.

Yep, this show is certainly firing on all cylinders this season! I still love the Mickey character, as much as I want to see him go down, part of me just wants him to keep going! I can't wait to see what happens with him in the next couple of episodes, it should be really good

When Ray agreed to cleanup the murder, I thought he would renegotiate to be released from the deal that saved Terry's life.

He did in a way, he negotiated support for the football stadium deal, which could be worth a great deal more than his company ever was. But more importantly he's now more or less in control of his own fate, having a substantial amount of power over his "boss".

I love this show but I have to ask myself why am I so into such low life's. Donovan's are scum the Finney's are too. Loved it when Lena popped the fish in game girl, Ha! This show could be a script from "The Young and the Restless".

These are just my opinions.

I agree that Ray made the right choice when he got Finney to front the cash necessary to preserve the stadium deal. That will make Ray independently wealthy if the NFL deal holds up.

As matters stand, when Ray made Finney's dead son in law problem go away, Ray took title to Finney in fee simple absolute. Finney has become just another client because Ray has far more on Finney than Finney has on Ray.

I took that scene as, he didn't want that life, the life people his age usually do and he wanted to go back to the "scene" and only way to do that without getting killed is to become a rat...again. He is the most selfish character i've seen in a while.

I'm a bit uncertain just how much sway Ray bought with the "clean-up and disposal" .. it almost seems to be like a Mexican Standoff .. Finney having the dirt on Ray and Crew for disposal, Ray having the dirt on Finney for the murder .. like Ray said "Guys like you never do time" (or some such) ..

I'm sure murder carries the higher penalty, yet, can Ray really use that against Finney .. ?? Especially since Avi and Lena were in on the fix as well .. ??
