I wonder if next week's episode is going to be in real-time with several time jumps or if they'll abandon the real-time aspect for the final episode. It seems impossible to condense 13 hours worth of events into one hour.

Of all the women Jack has been involved with Audrey is the worst. I wish the show would kill her off. When she isn't looking distraught, upset about something she is just an emotional plot anchor who keeps running into figurative cougars. Now Jack has to deviate from the plan to rescue her again.

This season still needs a sacrifice. Please let it be her so that Jack can move on with Kick-ass Kate.

I'm still expecting a 11/12 hour flight somewhere. Russia or China is looking likely and it will probably be in the final moments. Either by force or on purpose I expect Jack to wake up in a different country just before the final blips of the clock.

Yeah but that was the case last season too. It's only a series finale until they decide to make some more.

That said, it will be a stretch if it is in fact that because she has been killing bad guys all season with Jack, so it would make no sense.

I read this before I watched the episode so I looked for this. She never once looked in the rearview mirror. Jack did a few times by looking up at an angle. She only ever looked over at him when she was talking to him or when he was in the back seat she would look back there when he talked. A normal reaction.

I don't think there will be any flights to other countries because the day ends at 11:00 AM and a time zone shift wouldn't allow this.

However they wrangle it I still fully expect the time jump to occur in the final few minutes just to fill the titular quota.

Maybe Jack takes a nap for once.

Good description. But I'd say that describes Chloe to a tee. Just look at this season for every point you made.

Sure, but the difference is Chloe has skills. She is worth saving. Who else can hack into all the internets at once and disarm nuclear missiles with a hashtag?

Chloe overpowers armed guys in a truck and escapes.

Then Chang miraculously happens to be at the location where Audrey is meeting her Chinese contact?

And London is the most heavily monitored place on earth, with cameras everywhere. One of them would have captured a group of Chinese men wielding automatic weapons. Or Russians with automatic weapons.

Or Americans with automatic weapons. Incredible that the CIA gets to operate there with impunity. You'd think they'd have to coordinate and work with London police or British intelligence.

Chang wasn't there, his sniper probably followed Audrey from the office and called Chang. Chang was phoning Audrey to say that his operative was on the scene.

I was wondering where all the cops where too. Sure they have their hands full with drone strikes, but gun battles would surely be heard by residents and at least get some officers checking it out. It looks very odd that there are no UK police anywhere now.

Officially, 'Live Another Day' is a limited run miniseries. If Fox decides to greenlight '24: Never Say Never' for next year, that would be treated as a new individual series.

The last episode of Fargo on FX was also labeled as a "series finale." A second season is in development now.

Doing 6 episodes these days appears to be a risk for networks these days let alone 12-13. That is probably why I can buy shows on Amazon for a discount with only a 3 episode purchase requirement just in case they get canceled before the season is over.

I had a real hard time with that whole sniper subplot too, but at this point you just roll your eyes until the end and go with the action. But as mentioned Cheng was on the phone, not at the scene. Looks like Chloe has to save the day again, just like she always does.

I've read and there that Jack might be reunited with Audrey. It would be great for Jack, going back to his daughter and his woman, I mean I know how it sounds, but the man deserves some rest!

You sure did.

Cheng managed to drive that truck from London to the New forest in record time.

Though perhaps that was meant to be around the Farnborough military base though why he was not driving down the M3 to get to Southampton I don't know.

The boat left in an hour and Southampton is 80 miles and 100minutes away!

Jack Bauer doesn't pee. He just holds it for the full 24 hours. Why do you think he's always so grumpy with everyone?

'24' Producers Explain When Jack Bauer Goes To The Bathroom On The Show

Snippet...

We finally know the answer to one of the questions that bugs diehard "24" fans and critics of the series: "When does Jack Bauer find time to go to the bathroom?"

During a conference call today with executive producers Evan Katz and Manny Coto, they addressed the fan question.

It's a pretty simple answer.

Since Bauer's not on screen the entirety of each episode, Katz and Coto say there's plenty of time for him to take care of business.

"Jack is off screen for huge amounts of time on the show." says Coto. "It's not like the camera is following him around and he's on screen the entire season."

"People constantly quote that as if it's ... a revelation," he added. "Well, Jack's going to the bathroom while we're on the president ... which sometimes takes an entire act."

Coto added he's always found it "the strangest comment" since the answer seems obvious; however, it's one that Kiefer Sutherland — Jack Bauer himself — has heard a lot from fans so much that when talking about the possibility of a “24” movie back in 2010 with Showbiz Spy, Sutherland envisioned what such a scene may look like.

“We might actually shoot a scene where Jack raids an office and runs into the washroom in the lobby and comes out nine seconds later a lot happier because I am always being asked when Jack gets to go the bathroom.”

There's a running joke among fans that Jack never goes to the bathroom. We had a scene where I was running towards a sign pointing 'BATHROOM' to the left and 'OFFICES' to the right. I did a double-take and ran towards the bathroom! We sent it in to the network, as a joke reel. But, quite frankly, nobody wants to see Jack Bauer go to the bathroom.” Kiefer Sutherland
