I am so ready and now I actually have a reason to look forward to Mondays (at least until football season).

My flabber has been gasted and my gob has been smacked. Anything else?

From Vulture,

Jack Bauer’s 24 Best Kills on 24
Quote:
“You’re cursed, Jack. Everything you touch, one way or another, ends up dead.” There’s truth to those words, uttered by former secretary of Defense James Heller (William Devane) around two o’clock in the morning on the sixth worst day of Jack Bauer’s life. Indeed, if the Emmy-winning Fox thriller 24 accomplished nothing else in its eight seasons, it decisively declared Bauer as television’s King Midas of murder. Be it a gun, an axe, a screwdriver, or even a walky-talky, it is an instrument of death in his hands — or his thighs, as is sometimes the case. As it stands, Bauer has killed 270 people over the show’s run, and no doubt Kiefer Sutherland’s iconic counterterrorism agent will be adding to the tally when 24: Live Another Day premieres on Monday, May 5. Before the clock starts ticking on the 12-episode, London-set 24 revival, join us for a fond look back at Jack Bauer's 24 best kills to date.

24. Pants-Off Dance-Off (Season Two, 3:00 AM—4:00 AM)
Remember that time Jack Bauer died? Not the season four fake-out — the time Jack Bauer actually died. In season two, terrorists tortured Bauer so badly that his heart stopped for three minutes. Minutes after he was revived, a butt-naked Bauer regained the upper hand and killed his captors with seven well-placed bullets. Even when he's half-dead and not wearing pants, Bauer remains the most dangerous man in the room.

Excellent list. The only changes I would make is put Jack vs. Fayed and Jack vs. Drazen & crew in the top 3. Awesome scenes all-around.

30 minute Jack Bauer recap tonight on Fox.

Cougars, dammits, moles, people not listening to Jack even though he is never wrong, Africa, going rogue, running out of time, pokers, axes, torture, China, nukes, good presidents, evil presidents, Agent Freckles ...

That's about it, right? biggrin.gif

It wasn't so much a recap as a "making-of" featurette.

But plenty of shooty, fighting explosive action clips and a brief clip of Jack saying "dammit" made me quite excited for Monday night.

edit: Thought so. It was ripped from the internet for broadcast.

The director said they have 20 explosions in the first 2 hours alone. Let the carnage commence.

Where's your drill sergeant, son?
Blown up, sir!

I have a love/hate relationship with this show. Love the show, but hate that I have to wait another week.

Great first episode, however, I just hope one of the "bad guys" isn't one of the CIA guys, or someone in the Admin. We'll see..

BTW, I like the new blonde chick...

Yep, that was 24.

Jack stabbing, choking, shooting, headbutting and general kicking of asses. Loved the "You think you have me at a disadvantage" moment. biggrin.gif

And the Jack Sack returned too.

Now as long as there isn't another mole in the CIA or air force the show can only get better. With an extra 12 hours spare it also means he may be flying/driving to another country before the season is up.

That did seem to go by very fast, and it was certainly the same ol' 24. It almost feels like the show was never gone.

They better not. She has psychic powers now. As bad as she was before, she can now read minds, teleport and stop oncoming bullets with just her mind! eek.gif

I definitely agree, the first hour flew by! The second hour settled into the 24 rhythm.

Yvonne (Kate Morgan) was great. B Bratt playing the "late to the Jack Bauer story" guy. Not sure who the traitor will be. Mark Boudreau (Tate Donovan)? Makes sense, since Audrey just hasn't been through enough already.

Good cast, though.

I know the creators like to have their melodramatic cheese, but was it necessary to have the president in the early stages of some mental defect, like Alzheimer’s?

And while London is nice, I think the show would have been better in DC.
