I still think it's the most fun of all the superhero shows. Aside from the Netflix Marvel series, which have been stellar so far, this will be the only one I'll continue to pay any attention to.

Same here, but for different reasons. I enjoyed last season for the most part, but I've since cut the cord and would have to watch the new season On Demand (with commercials) on my streaming service, Playstation Vue, if I want to watch new episodes the week they are released. If the new season starts out REALLY good, it may be worth the hassle (I might even find something productive to do during commercial breaks like work out or wash dishes). If not, I'll wait until the newest season gets added to Netflix next summer.

I don't even have any idea who it is. So I don't care one way or the other. I realize they have to keep bringing in new characters to keep things fresh but I long ago stopped reading comics* so The Mythology is largely new to me anyway, and consists mostly of what I've seen on screens large & small.

*except for "The Watchmen", which was brilliant, and "The Dark Knight", which was a Batman I could understand

It slips from the "James Bond" conceit and goes beyond science to supernatural. Nothing wrong with that, just two different sorts of worlds.

Yes, I always loved that character. Now, if it is the Nicholas Cage version, well.....

Not me, not unless they make it clear that we're not dealing with the supernatural, but only with "unexplained science." I don't care if it's justified with gobbledygook and hand waving (just as they did with Thor and Norse mythology), as long as they do it.

If they try to mix supernatural elements with the existing science/technology basis of the MCU (fantastic as it all is anyway), I'm out.

I expect to have the same challenge with Dr Strange. He can be a "sorcerer" and perform "magic" as long as somewhere along the line they concede that he's actually accessing, say, "energy from the quantum dimension," and the demons and other critters he encounters are some sort of inter-dimensional beings.

Ghost Rider is based on Biblical superstition (Satan, etc.); for him to be part of the MCU, that mythology needs to be treated the same way Norse mythology was in the Thor movies.

They should make it clear that they are dealing with "the supernatural and superstition" and zero science, so that religiousphobes will whine all over the internet about a show based on comic books.

So you're OK with divine intervention as a way to resolve conflicts in your action-adventure shows?

Of course...It wasn't a "show", but when I was kid, "Clash of the Titans" was one of my favorite movies. It wasn't part of my belief system, but I thought it was really cool. There was also "Quantum Leap"...it had an element of divine intervention if I remember correctly. Wasn't much action, but time travel is an adventure.

Who cares as long as they make it work? It's fiction....if you don't want supernatural watch non superhero/scifi type shows. Not everything will be based on the science some firms they use fantasy which is part of the scifi sub-genre.

I still think that AOS was best in its first season when it more of a "weird assignment of the week." It was a way for us all to see that SHIELD dealt with all kinds of things on a regular basis besides the big cinematic conflicts. Then the bottom dropped out and I don't think it's had that charm since.

When the Fantastic turned to the Supernatural in comics. It was time to grow up.

I don't remember him ever being in SGU.

I do remember him singing the spider song in Terra Nova though.

We already knew about that, i.e., Coulson getting replaced (no, not dying). I think in the preview for next season which was shown at the end of the season finale. Or maybe it even happened within the episode, I'm drawing a blank on the specifics.

Chances are it will get cancelled as most shows do and she'll reappear once again.
