Stunt doubles rarely do, in fact, one of Scarlet Johanasens Stunt Double in Avengers was a dude I think.

Anyone else think in the Age of Ultron that they used the "hold something in front of belly or stand behind something" technique for Scarlett Johanson since she was pregnant during the filming?

Also, Alicia is a very busy lady. As long as stunt doubles are close in physique to the star, they can hide the face. The stunt double for Captain Kirk on TOS was just hilariously obvious.

Even as a kid and watching on lo-rez TV via rabbit ears it was extremely obvious that was not Shat fighting. Even the guy's hairstyle was different than Shat's,

They used many different techniques, from the simple ones of just framing her shots from the chest up, to complex compositing of her face on other bodies, to traditional stunt-doubling where the stunt person never faces the camera, to actually shooting SJ fully and then using CGI to remove the evidence of pregnancy. It was a multi-hundred-million dollar movie; they could afford everything. Multiple techniques were often used in the same sequence. It was very well done, I thought.

It seemed like most scenes in Ultron looked great for FX, but there did seem to be some that weren't quite up to the quality they should have been. I thought maybe I was seeing things until my brother had mentioned the same thing to me when we were talking about the movie yesterday..

I was disappointed in the CGI, especially in the opening sequence.

But I rarely go to the theater -- this was the first time in at least a year -- and it was a large-format room showing the film in 2D with Atmos. I'm used to seeing these CGI-heavy films on a 60" screen, where the compositing of CGI with live action is less obvious.

So I will wait for the Blu-ray to judge the CGI against the other films in the series.

Thanks - very interesting. I remember reading once that higher resolutions and frame rates were mostly just making the phoniness more apparent to the viewer...

Spoiler!

All this happens in the very last minute of airtime.
Why would it gobble her up if she weren't Inhuman?

So Sky has had a complete 180 from when SHIELD found her (no secrets, expose all) to now, keep the Inhumans secret (I do tend to agree with that since I neither trust the media nor the people the media riles up, nor SHIELD).

Best wishes,

I'd love to see Skye expose all her secrets.

Oops wait, wrong channel. We need to get this over to HBO.
